Excellent service and excellent food. Comfortable atmosphere. Sustainable practices are the cherry on top. Cal is really the best server - he goes above and beyond to accommodate and make sure his guests are taken care of. The McAllen burger is a great value. The porchetta tacos are great if you are a pork lover, as is the pork burger. Great house made pastas. The bomboloni and honey churros are great desserts, and I look forward to working my way down the dessert menu. The tincho and strawbellini are nice cocktails if you enjoy something sweet. Nice selection of beers.

Delicious. Excellent service. An unexpected find. We had the Brie - out of this world. The tomato soup and Yahweh salad were also excellent. Nice wine selections. Servers were knowledgeable and dishes and wine arrived quickly to our table. Have lived and dined in Los Angeles for years and this establishment would easily be a success there. An unexpected amazing find in the Valley. Will be coming back time and time again.

100% one of the top restaurants in McAllen. I will guarantee be back to this place for dinner. The wine selection was vast, and the prices are great. The customer service was spectacular. This is no exaggeration we had the chef even come out to ask about our meal. The server was on point on his pouring technique and cleared plates almost immediately. The food was great but the service was the high point of the night!

Very nice. Good food. Husband was thrilled with great beer list and delicious mussels with sauce and frites. I had Caesar salad with chicken. Manager brought some focaccia bread. Very good. Water is from tap and awful. They need to put an RO unit on a faucet for better water. Bathroom has mouthwash and hand lotion. Nice touches. Well be back.

Good food and drinks for the price. The only downside was not getting service after we had are meals going, seem like it was because how we were dress that had an impact. It was not busy at all I think there were 3 tables tops. Manager offered to pay our bill and 2 waiters apologize. Overall try the apple pie it was delicious.

I was in McAllen for the evening and stopped at House Wine & Bistro for dinner with coworkers. I do not remember what our appetizer was called but you could create your own meat and cheese tray, amazing! I ate the Harvest Pasta which was great. Their noodles were fresh and different from anything Ive ever had. Highly recommend!

Went there for a dinner with some family from out of town and it was a horrible decision to take them to House Wine. This place is super over rated. Food was cold, wine overpriced and the service is weak. There are better places in McAllen to go to but I took a chance and I paid for it. Dont waste your time or your money.

I love this place! Every time we go, we find more reasons to love it. Last night, we took some friends that were visiting for the first time from D.C. It was a beautiful evening, so we ate outside on the patio next to the fireplace. Dinner was excellent! The guys all had steaks and they were all perfect.

Amazing, like any restaurant where the owners are there to treat their clients to personalized service. Wonderful wine menu with "off the beaten path" selections as well as familiar favorites. The food is delicious as they use locally sourced ingredients. Great place, cant wait to come back!

Went there with friends for the first time, I visit from out of town and usually not impressed with the places my friends take me, this time it was different, a great restaurant with full menu for lunch and dinner, fresh ingredients, superb wine list and a very nice ambiance.

This place is can surprise your with their flavor combinations and occasional change menus. I absolutely love the ambience and the simple decoration. The service is amazing! And the owner is always around. Definitely a must place to go in the McAllen area.

This is a nice and cozy place to go. The wine selection is excellent. The salad is superb and the desert is very good. You cant go wrong. Prices are a little high but worth it. My bill was $60.00 for 2 included 1 drink each and shared desert.

The setting is nice it kind of gives a retro type of feeling to the place but I once ordered something that had quail and it got me very sick but I decided to give it three stars because the dessert here is really good.

Has its good days and bad days. The rack of lamb is fantastic. A little too loud at dinner time due to the layout and furnishing of the building. Still a nice place to have a nice dinner and drinks.
