With all the "outdoor" shops open one day and gone the next this is a true gem! This is a GEAR GEAR GEAR shop with knowledgable and professional staff who greet you as you walk in. No attitudes! They have a little fly fishing section that in all honesty is HUGE being that there aint much water in lubbock. Great place to spend money! Shop local.

Been a customer for a long time. Always great service and selection for the store size. These guys know their stuff and live it. If it werent for them and Gander Id be digging through one of the other stores hoping to find gear and not have to way over pay.

Without mountain hideaway, I would have to order ALL my fly fishing necessities online. The staff is very friendly and Zach is great. MH should start a guide service though, at least for Lake Alan Henry. LMB on the fly are amazing.

VERY good customer service. Which seems to be getting rarer and rarer these days. I highly recommend these guys. Ive spent 300+ bucks there since I have been at tech and always came away satisfied.
