Tried to call and check on availability of an item. I called and they said they would get an associate to help. After 5 minutes of ringing someone picked up the phone and hung up. I called back and asked again letting them know what just happened. They did the exact same thing. They said ok and transferred me. It rang and rang until someone picked up (I could hear background noise) then hung up. Its 2 in the afternoon on a Wednesday. Not exactly peak hours. Pretty poor customer service.

What can you say about Academy you can buy all your outdoor stuff fishing canoeing kayaking you can buy pools here you can also buy athletic clothes here Ice Coolers, bikes, athletic shoes, baseball, football, soccer, swimming wear almost anything you think of that belongs in the outdoors or for the gym also gym equipment

Great selection but customer service is crap. Front greeter was texting on his phone behind the little podium and peeking around to make sure his manager wasnt looking. Said he would go check in the back for the product and I am currently standing here waiting... And have been for 10-15 minutes now...

I needed help buying some sports gear for my child. Keep in mind that I have very little interest in sports. One of the staff members walked me though the entire process and made sure I got the gear that we needed. Its nice to know that this place will take care of us when needed.

Lots of fun stuff to look at. They have gun, did and deals, boats, camping stuff, and everything to go with it. Plenty of staff standing around, you would think with every one standing around, they would be able to price stuff better. Too many items not priced. Fun store though.

Always have what I need. Plenty of ammunition for firearms. I dont mind the younger workers not getting me at the door like a lot of reviewers seem to really care about. It really isnt that serious. The sales and discounted items are pretty good as well.

How is love Academy Sports and Outdoors as it offers a very good alternative to Bass Pro Shops and is usually cheaper. The people who work there are always very helpful and you can usually find whatever you need from an outdoor and sports perspective.
