Our system was offline for months and we did not know it until we noticed that we were not getting calls from the alarm company after it had gone off. We had ADT before and they performed a monthly ping of our system to make sure we were online, so we didnt have to worry about it, but apparently Custom does not do that. So, we paid for at least 4 months of monitoring with no monitoring being done, we were trapped in a 3 year contract, and 2 years after that contract is up they send my account for monitoring to collections. We did not terminate the 3 year agreement early, and our monthly monitoring fee was taken out of our account monthly on a monthly draft, so how could we owe them money for monitoring? Also, the first time they came to our home we told them we wanted a price to add some door and window contacts, and asked over and over and we never received a price. Lousy customer service and a total waste of money.

I was a costumer for many years and should have dropped them a long time ago. First of all, the salesman push what they want you to have, NOT what you ask for. Secondly, their customer service is horrendous, it seems like most every time I would call to set up and appointment for their faulty equipment, they would tell me they would have a tech call me. After a few days of no response I would call back and would get the typical apology from their office. About their techs, during a service one decided to rummage through my kitchen and used my clean dishes to soak batteries in and then just left them on the kitchen counter!! Most importantly, as in a prior review, they do not check to ensure your system is still online. This is a huge deal in that essentially your alarm will go off but no one is alerted!! Please choose someone else that actually cares about their customers safety and respects their homes.

great company highly recommend custom to any one who is looking for a great security system, they are not like the other guys trying to sell you all the extra stuff that you really do not need, they tell you want you really need to get started and if you want the extra then they will get it for you, but they are not like adt and all them other one that try and pressure you and tell you that you must have all the extra that you really dont need they just want your money, Make sure you ask for Brian great salesman and he will take care of your needs.
