CVS Specialty is a disgrace. This is the most unorganized group of people which is a shame since they directly influence patient care. I have numerous patients in which insurance mandates this pharmacy be used and each time there are multiple errors resulting in the patients medication being delayed weeks and on numerous occasions even 1-2 months! Absolutely unacceptable. Patient care technicians and Supervisors have no explanation other than "there was an error" or "Im not sure why but I will personally fix this" which are just lines they tell you because patients will not get their medications unless the doctors office spends countless hours on the phone correcting mistakes and advising them of information they have in the records and shouldnt have to be told such as Prior authorization already being completed and on file. Look through the records! Misspelling errors lead to having 2 or 3 accounts for the same exact person further complicating situations. Supervisors do not follow through on their promises of fixing situations. No follow up to ensure the patients medications are being delivered. I literally cringe when insurance mandates this pharmacy. Physicians should not have to pay their employees to have to babysit CVS Specialty pharmacies patient care technicians to ensure patients are not being neglected. A pitiful excuse for a pharmacy.

Im not sure if theyre incompetent or just lazy. My boyfriend went in several weeks ago to pick up two medicines for me. They quoted be $30 for one and $5 for the other. He asked if they had my insurance on file and apparently they were trying to use my old insurance. He gave the tech our new insurance card and she quoted $55 for one and $77 for the other. He asked why it was so expensive and she said "maybe you have a deductible" I just went in to drop a prescription for my mother and asked about my medicine again she quoted me $55 and $77. I asked why so much and she informed me I didnt have any insurance on file. I WENT THREE WEEKS WITHOUT THIS, BECAUSE SHE WAS TOO LAZY TO TYPE OUR INSURANCE INTO THE COMPUTER LAST TIME WHEN SHE HAD THE CARD IN FRONT OF HER! They are always rude every single tech or pharmacist there has an attitude and they are slow. I just sat behind someone at the drive thru while she filled one of his prescriptions even though theres a GIANT sign saying they cant do that. She even asked if I wanted my moms medicine filled now or pick up in an hour. My God follow your own rules lady.

I dont even want to give this store a star at all. I have a service dog and the evening workers/manager/assistant manager are discriminating me. There was an innocent where a worker says she saw my service dog lick a chocolate egg that was on the bottom shelf of a display near check out. I looked down and saw an opened wrapper. I moved it to the top to get it away from my dog. The cashier demanded that ALL the chocolate eggs be thrown away, even ones that werent even on the same shelf. Then they have the nerve to tell me that Jim Wright wants me banned from the store because they had to throw away $85 of chocolate eggs. The night manager or assistant manager then started to say some pretty rude/mean comments about me having a disability!! Right in front of my children which one has Autism. Wow..... I am so pissed off that they treated my service dog and I that way and then telling my I am banned because I have a service dog?!?!?!? WHAT!!!! I will be boycotting this store FOREVER and so will all of my friends and family! Wrong move there CVS!!!!!!!!!

This place is by far the worst pharmacy I have ever dealt with in my life. The people are incompetent. Nothing is ever done on time. They also lie to you constantly, blaming corporate policies that do not exist every time they screw up (I know these policies dont exist because I went to another CVS after dealing with this one). Worst of all, the wanna-be doctors who work here think that because they wear a white coat, they are more qualified than your doctor to make decisions about your health. Several times in the last year I have come in with prescriptions from my doctor, and the pharmacist simply refuses to fill them until days or weeks after the date on the script. I have started going to another CVS several miles farther away from my house just so I wont have to deal with these incompetent idiots anymore. Go literally anywhere other than here. Another CVS, another chain altogether (theres multiple Walgreens and Walmarts within a few miles of here), anywhere. These people are not worth your time or your money.

I normally really like this place. Its open 24 hours and the people who work there are friendly but the only problem I had with them was whenever I called the pharmacy, being on hold for a long time. In fact, the reason Im writing the review and leaving 3 stars is because I called the store asking if they had a pack of mouth guards for teeth grinding that said online were in this store. When the person picked up, I asked and he said let me redirect you to pharmacy since they would know. I was on hold for THIRTY MINUTES before I finally hung up. THE GUY COULD HAVE WALKED OVER AND CHECKED IN THAT TIME SPAN

Ive never waited so long in my life for basic drugs like Amoxicillin. No matter what I need its a minimum of an hours wait, and I have to leave and come back later. The pharmacists are often rude. One told me my new insurance wasnt covered by CVS, and then proceeded to tell me I wouldnt be able to fill my scrip at Wal-Mart or Target either. I filled it 10 minutes later...at the Wal-Mart across the street. Most pharmacies have service that is pretty comparable, I would recommend going literally anywhere else.

You need to have a usa ID to be able to get a cold medicine? Its not enough foreign ID or passport???? Its just to check the age of the customer right???? Thats insane. It means if you are from another country, you cant buy any medicine from CVS??? How nice.!!! Hey even though Im not from here, I have money on my wallet and I will spend that $$$ somewhere else. Because your employees are so rude and they attitude is horrible.

Ive been going here for a while now and no matter what the pharmacy always says it will be about an hour. Even if its an ointment no matter what pharmaceutical you get they make you wait an hour. Good people but gah lee its almost 2016! The truth about our generation today is no-one likes to wait. Any other CVS pharmacy for my scripts 30 minutes at max! Usually 10 - 15 minutes.

Employees kept telling me where a product was, in aisle 7, but no one would help me when I couldnt find it. They wouldnt even look it up in the system to see if they even sold it. Then some old woman with no ID or uniform kicked me and my service dog out, claiming no dogs allowed. Im assuming she was the manager or something. She was incredibly rude. Not going back.

CVS need to pick it up a notch!!! Unnecessary hassle for the customer spending time calling forward and back between the pharmacy and the doctor, just because the pharmacy cant figure it out. I thinks time for a manager to step up, or maybe a manager change. This is unacceptable customer service and need to be addressed ASAP.
