I came in to get a Monroe piercing, expecting Kimberly to pierce it for me because I read so many good reviews about her but instead I show up and some guy name Kevin or Corry or something along the line.. did the piercing. He was not professional about it. He expected me to know how to take care of the piercing and how to change it out. He never told me what he was doing, no steps. When he did the piercing, he dropped the ball of the piercing on the ground, and he stopped what he was doing to look for it.. When I still had the needle sticking out of my face! Then he blamed it on me, when all I was doing was laying their on the chair. He lost the piercing that I wanted, so I had to get an alternative one. Finally, he took the needle out but he said he would have to pierce it again with a different piercing. Therefore, he had to pierce it TWICE! I had to go through the pain twice, and the second time he did pierce it he stretched the whole in my face. ..Six weeks later, I came back to order a new piercing because he told me to come back to look at the catalog. I asked for the catalog and he refused to show it to me, when in fact when I came in to get it pierced he TOLD me to come back later to ask for the catalog. Every time I would ask a question, he was really confused and didnt seem to know what he was talking about. When I finally decided what piercing I wanted, he said he was going to order it the following Monday and give me a call that week when it came in. He never did! Finally, I decided to go to another place, Cats Tattoos. I asked the girl working there to take a look at it because I realized that the disk on the back of the piercing was gone, it was inside the layer of my lip. She took a look at it and told me whoever pierced it, pierced it with a SHORT piercing. Because when you are going to get something pierced, the piercer is suppose to give you a longer piercing to allow swelling. Then she took it out and fixed Living Canvass mistake! While she cleaned up their mess, she was telling me what she was doing, and what tools was meant for what. Thanks to Living Canvas, I had to put out extra money to get the job done right, and they left me with a scar behind the ball piercing because it was too tight and short. Living Canvas sucks!

my artist was garza. he was great. a soft spoken guy, but very nice. first tattoo artist i have worked with who hasnt been rude, didnt give me a hard time about anything just to be a jerk, and didnt have a terribly foul attitude. hes the only person i talked to there, but im sure theyre all great artists. and the shop was very clean and professional. i dont think ill ever go anywhere else. plus the pricing was very reasonable. if anyone asks me where to get great tattoos i will definitely be referring them to living canvas. i tried another shop in the area before going to living canvas. what the other shop charged me, i figured, was too much. but i stupidly paid. (wouldnt take it back because i do love the tattoo) i asked living canvas how much they would have charged for my tattoo before telling them how much i did pay and it was half what i paid at the other shop. after getting 3 different tattoos at 3 different shops, i think i have found my tattoo shop home. A Living Canvas is by far the best tattoo studio I have ever been to. I highly recommend it and tell people about it all the time. You will not be disappointed if you go here! Its clean, comfortable, and professional, and all of the artists are wonderful. I have two tattoos by Kory and I get compliments on them constantly. The color is incredible! They are beautiful tattoos and Im planning to go back for many more. I have friends who have been tattooed by Scott and Skylar, and they are both great as well. I know I will never have to worry about a tattoo from any of these guys, and I will never need to go anywhere else again. My daughters both have a piercing done by Alex. I was very impressed by how quick and painless she made the experience for both of them, and neither have ever had any problems with their piercings.

I got my nose pierced here about 6 months ago and had problems with it the whole time. the girl that pierced it was unfriendly and seemed annoyed by my being there. I finally went to another shop called The Crypt who has certified piercers and turns out whoever pierced my nose from a living canvas pierced it at the wrong angle causing it to not be able to heal probably. im going to have to take it out, let it heal, and re-pierce it. perhaps it was a result of human error but the same thing happened to my friend who got her nose pierced here. if youre looking to get pierced by someone who knows what theyre doing i would stay away from a living canvas.

Everything about my experience was great. I had my navel pierced. They used a new needle and belly ring (both in separate packs that were pre-sterilized) Couldnt even feel the clamps and there was near no pain/discomfort. It was quick too! The only reason I give a 2 is because the aftercare instruction was very brief and I feel they were not as in-depth as they could have been. I must say this was a very sanitary environment and Alex did a great job with placement. It is straight and no problems yet. (one month on as of today) I would recommend this place and have done so, just read up a bit on your piercing and its tendencies before you get it. :)

Amazing First Tattoo Experience. My husband and I called the night before and got a next day appointment with Skyler. We didnt know anything about the process, etc and Skyler was great. He explained everything as he went, was helpful with design and placement on our bodies, and was great to talk to. The prices were very fair and the shop is awesome. Its very clean and professional with private spaces for each artist so youre not sitting in front of tons of other people. Not sure we will ever get a second tattoo but I know for sure if we ever do we will be going back here for Skyler!

I will never go anywhere else for a piercing! My two friends got piercings there, one got lobes and the other got their navel, and they looked amazing! I got my industrial done and it was painless! I was so terrified that Id hear a crunch and it would be so excruciating that I couldnt handle it, but Alex calmed me down and it didnt take long at all! I also got there for the early bird special, and only paid $25! Im so happy with my piercing (and I even got jewelry from them for when its healed, theyve got a great selection). Alex is the best! I wouldnt go anywhere else!

Ive always heard great things about a living canvas and even seen an artist at work. So I finally went in to get some touch up work done, and a new artist worked on me. His name is Scott, and hes been doing this for 18 years. He is amazing. Hes got a great eye for design, and his lettering is top notch. Great music taste also, haha. We chatted throughout the session, and you could really tell he put his heart and soul in his work. Also, the best customer service in a 15 mile radius. Best work Ive got on me. Absolutely recommend. Ill be back soon too for more.
