Went here on my 18th birthday to receive my 3rd tattoo, waited 2 hours (I wasnt surprised, hell I just walked in. But there was only one artist) Ive heard many bad things about hellbent but I decided to come here anyways because Ive also heard good things. So I gave the benefit of the doubt. I paid $110 for a simple word quote on my foot "one step at a time" it turned it out nice.. while getting my tattoo, the artist, who was randy or Randall at the time was calling me a "p*ssy" he asked me why my wrist tattoos were upside down. (They say stay strong, theyre upside down so I can read them. I got them for personal reasons) I tried not to move or shake but yes this foot tattoo KILLED ME, like 0-10 pain it was a 11. Anyways, when I told him the reason why my tattoos were like that, he continued to tattoo me and he said "were you this much of a p*ssy when you cut yourself?" By this time, I was so pissed...I was done and I knew I WOULD NEVER come back here..ever since then I havent. Also, I think the reason why my tattoo hurt so bad was because the artist was heavy handed. I have gotten more tattoos since then from my 2 new shop(s) and they havent hurt. I have tattoos around bones, and my ankle near the tattoo Randall did and it didnt hurt...so Im assuming he was heavy handed and was in a rush that night too...So moral of this store: Do not go to hellbent...

I got my tragus pierced here about 5-1/2 years ago. When I entered the shop, I wasnt acknowledged for several minutes. They were busy with other customers but it only takes 5 seconds to acknowledge someone & say "someone will be with you shortly". Instead, I felt ignored. When I told them I was there for a piercing, the guy walked off without saying a word. I wasnt sure what was going on. A few minutes later, a woman came to the counter to help me (I dont know if he went to get her, or if she coincidentally came to the counter, since he didnt say he was going to get someone to help me). Anyway, she was really nice & the piercing didnt hurt at all. But she pierced it with a regular earring! Thats just wrong, & I ended up buying the correct jewelry for my piercing from Randy Adams. Later, when I wanted to get my nose pierced, I remembered that this place didnt use the right jewelry for my tragus & that they werent friendly (aside from the piercer, but again, she should know not to pierce a tragus with an earring thats made for an earlobe!) & there was no way I was going to go back, no matter how nice the piercer was. She should know what to use to pierce a tragus (or any other body part), not to mention the other shop employees were not friendly at all. I will never go back here.

On July 27 I walked in to the new hellbent location on cooper. I thought "how convenient a hellbent close to my place of withholding upon entering i was looking for the(trade mark) witty placement of super glued coinage on the ground, to my dismay there were none to be found. however the interior was clean, professional and down right familiar for you neophobes out there. i decided to have my lobes pierced with a 14 Ga needle with the intentions of stretching. after choosing my jewelry i was escorted to the procedure room where i noticed an autoclave (standard in the world of health care for sterilization of utensils) my artist placed the dots , seemingly askew on my lobes... but after stretching a bit they came into sync so is this a coincidence or the insight of the people at hellbent over all i am on the most basic level of satisfaction. i give an average score due to the customer service some employees fancy themselves far above there patrons giving an undesirable vibe to the atmosphere.

Check it out....I went there the other day.....they have a great staff and yeah, I read the other reviews. I thought they were great, funny, entertaining, legit, and honest. Most of you may not want someone telling you your tattoo is stupid and refuse to do it....they will.....thats who I want doing mine because they care more about the customer and the embarrassment that might come....haha....or whatever it is. So, take you hurt feelings ass down the road to another parlor to get your dumpster juice trash tattoo put on....I hope it gets infected too. Hell-bent just wont put up with bullshit i am with em......I dont either. Jeremiah was courteous and honest.....awesome artist too....the other guy was just comical haha. The owner.....great gal and kinda hot for an older woman too. All in all I had a great experience and 5 stars was warranted.

Rude as hell. Every single person in that shop is rude. That shop as a whole puts off a bad vibe. Not only do they act like youre bothering them when you walk in, but god forbid you POLITELY ask them any questions at all. TBH Im not real sure what theyre so arrogant about. My friend was the one that got the tattoo, and it was supposed to be black and grey. Nope. Its basically black and darker black. Do yourself a solid and take your business elsewhere. For instance to a professional shop that welcomes your business, and actually does do "stunning" tattoos.

Everyone always tells me the staff is rude, but whenever I come in its always an enjoyable experience. I havent gotten a tattoo here yet but Ive gotten the majority of my piercings done here. I had gone to 360 Blues for four piercings and they messed up three of them so badly I had to take them out. I then went here to get them redone and theyre fine now. I couldnt be happier! They were extremely friendly, made me feel comfortable, and the environment was clean with all the equipment sanitized. Four stars because the buildings exterior feels very sketchy.

This place is horrible. They sold me the wrong jewelry for my piercing. before i purchased the jewelry i ask them to make sure it was the right size, he looked out them and said yes. I got them home and put them in and figured out he lied. I called trying to get in contact with the piercer and she still wasnt there. I called and tried to talk to the owner and he act like he couldnt hear me each time i tried to talk to him. I was really mad he didnt try to fix the issue cause i spent like $60 on jewelry. I would go to this place ever again.

First off Kieth is a badass tattoo artist. He is alot of knowledge when it comes to the industry. I went to previous shops to get a price range. The other shops quoted me a price but they didnt even tell me about how the words I want wouldnt fit on my wrist. I went to hellbent to get a price range and he was spot on. While I was getting a tattoo he was very informative about any questions I had. He also struck up conversation to keep my mind off of the tattoo. Great price friendly and professional service = Me coming back.

March 25, 2011 Went to HELLBENT last sunday to get my second tattoo. I have a white rose and was glad to find out that they would do white ink tattoos as well because not all places will. The tattoo that I got was on my side and although it is an extremely painful place to get one, Keith, took his time and did it right. Great service and I was happy with the outcome! If you want to go to a clean, helpful, professional establishment then I definitely would recommend HELLBENT TATTOO in Arlington. -Devanie-
