First time for me to get a tattoo. Zac did a great job at a great price. I would refer him to anyone. I wont go anywhere else. Edit: Its been years since getting my tattoo. Ive needed to get it touched up for a third time and everyone at the shop keeps telling me to try to come in later. Its a small tattoo and wont take very long but whatever. Time and time again Im told to wait or they cant do it. I was even told to come in on a Monday because its their slowest day. I call Mondays and my artist isnt in (who is the only person allowed to touch up the tattoo.) Ive tried being patient and reasonable. It seems the upfront experience is great but they just arent interested in my continued business. I wanted more tattoos after this one is fully done but I guess I can go somewhere else after all.

I had been looking to have my first tattoo done for a long time. I had emailed and phoned around to places, and seen galleries online but couldnt find an artist I liked. After a lot of research I found Lauren at A Better Tattoo. Mainly from reviews like this one. Being my first tat, I was skeptical of all the rave reviews for Lauren and Zac. Well I hesitantly believed the hype and glad I did. She did an amazing job. Crisp clean line work on a wrist wrap. She was a little OCD about the clean up of the lines which is fantastic in my book. Angles and joints of a rather geometric design came out beautifully. And her attention to placement was very welcome. It is going to be with me forever. I will be going back to Lauren for my next one.

Yesterday my best friend and I went to A Better Tattoo to get our first tattoo together. Our experience was terrific, and Zach was so professional. I got a cross tattoo meanwhile my best friend got butterflies. Not only was he willing to hear out our ideas, he also gave us great feedback as well. We will definitely be going back for more tattoos to come. We highly recommend A Better Tattoo because of their amazing customer service and reasonable prices as well. If youre considering getting your first tattoo or another tattoo, A Better Tattoo is the place to go!

Wont be coming back to this place! First said it opens at 12 so I show up around 12:05 and the one guy is barely making it in! He opens the door them says "oh not open yet" so I stand outside in the cold till he opens the door. I tell him what I wAnt never says anytbing, then a guy walks in with paper work so again left to wait. He finally looks at me and says can you be back by 4? Wtf I have no time to wait for some guy and Im not giving up the rest of my day just to go back when he feels like making money! From that experience I wont go back for anything!

Lauren has done 2 of my last 3 tattoos and Zac did the other one. All three are fantastic. Lauren took an idea I had and came up with a great design. I am going back to see Lauren for another tattoo and cant wait to see what she comes up with this time. Love A Better Tattoo!!!! Update...I have another tat from Lauren and and a kick-ass guitar tat from Zac. Zac and Lauren are great artists. They listen to what you want and will come up with a killer design. No reason to go anywhere else.

I had my first tattoo done at A Better Tattoo, and I couldnt be happier with my tat. Zac, the tattoo artist, was super cool, gave me a great price, and! He did a great job with the tattoo and I will definitely be going back to him for my next tattoo! I went to a variety of tattoo shops to talk with artists, and price tattoos before I got mine and I would very highly recommend Zac at A Better Tattoo above other overpriced, egotistical tattoo artists!

I have had many piercings from several shops from in the Denton/Lewisville area and the only piercings I have had last are the ones from A Batter Tattoo. The piercer does not give you sketchy aftercare information and is very thorough in her work. My family members have also had the exact same negative piercing experiences all over the Denton/Lewisville area until I recommended A Better Tattoo.

Zac did a wonderful job on my tattoos! I am proud to show off my Air Force tattoo, everyone is always impressed! He made the colors pop and catch the eye. I can look at the memorial for my wife and smile because I have a magnificent piece of art to keep her alive in my heart. I wont go to anyone for tattoos except Zac. He does an awesome job and I always feel welcomed when I go into the shop.

I love having Zac do my tattoos he is the only one who I have had do my tattoos. He is the one person I can trust to do my tattoos I love all of mine. I also love how Zac keeps a picture of his father (original owner of the shop) hanging in the shop. I drive an hour one way just so I can have him do it for me and I wouldnt go anywhere else

My favorite tattoo shop! Ive seen Lauren for a tattoo and piercings and she did such a fantastic job on both! She does absolutely fabulous work, was super sweet, and extremely informative when helping me with my aftercare. I definitely recommend her for both and will go to her for all my tattoos and piercings from now on!

Was skeptic since Im not a huge fan of shops Since one of my first tattoos been messed up in a shop. But zac, was awesome. Walked in gave him my idea and he brought it to life. And its perfect! Got in and out super quick. Definitely gonna take my gf here for her first tattoo! Reasonably priced as well!

I absolutely love this place! I got my first four tattoos here six years ago and just got my fifth last night. Extremely clean shop and love the staff! Zac is very attentive and patient helping you decide exactly whats right for you. Cant wait to go back for my next one! Oh, and it didnt hurt at all :)

I got my double forward helix pierced in march. not only did she pierce me 3 times because she lost the thread. But now a month later its beyond infected. I have been taking care of it an making sure its clean but it bleeds an pusses non stop.. I wouldnt go there for a piercing if I was you!!!

I have got all of my tattoo from Zac there and he is amazing. All of my tattoos are really good! Yesterday i got a cross and it looks amazing everyone has been giving me compliments about it. He also does great prices! Id recommend Better Tattoo to anyone who wants to check it out!

2-generation family owned shop. Been going here for years. The father owned the original shop and the son took over the brand several years back. Great shop with a cool atmosphere, very clean, great artists and very good and fair prices.

Matt did a great job piecing my nose. I was very nervous. He put me at ease and made me feel comfortable. He explained each step and piece of equipment. He is meticulously clean and everything was sterile. Great experience!
