I personally went here for the Barnes & Noble It is Well stocked and has an excellent selection of journals kids selection as well as DVD and Criterion Collection. For myself I personally enjoy their extensive anime and graphic novel section. My personal suggestion is to always ask what is behind the counter where you pay because that is where they keep the most pristine boxed collectors items and you will be surprised at the selection they have. They also have a Starbucks in house and plenty of room to relax and read.

Art-deco shopping center built 1939. The River Oaks Theatre has a great selection of independent/international films. Several high-end restaurants Americas, La Griglia, and currently Cafe Ginger (moving early 2018) are located here. 2 dueling Starbucks are on the western side of the center. There are quite a few national retail stores here, ex., Sure La Table, Barnes and Noble ( with a third "Starbucks"), Talbots, the Gap, etc. Epicure Cafe is one of the few remaining independent, local casual restaurants.

Good stores and restaurants, but the place feels like it is a manufactured track-house, but a mall. The center grass area, which is Astro turf, isnt really a place to hang. Id say its slightly bigger than a large garage - while basically serving as a cut through for pedestrians. Parking is not easy entry. Im is often packed. Dont intend to park in the garage near the fitness company, the first couple levels are reserved for them. Which sit empty.

Be VERY careful parking in the garage. My car was broken into and backpack stolen from back seat in crowded garage. Security guard was, conveniently, on the 2nd floor while it occurred. I understand as a customer I assume all liability, but Weingarten Realty needs to do a better job assuring customer safety in such a high end shopping center.

Great selection of things here. If you want to eat, there are many options to choose from. If you want home goods, again there are many options. You can grocery shop, buy kitchenware, sportswear, and even pamper yourself.

Park and walk around. Great shopping, restaurants and vintage theatre. Not to mention the best kept secret in town for high end drinks and semi private public lunar activity. Is let YOU figure it out...as I did!

Lots of places to shop here- from Kroger to Loft, to the only Barnes and Noble I know left open and 4 different Starbucks. Be careful walking around in the parking lot, a lot of people do not pay attention.

Great plaza thats usually not too busy. There are some good shops here and an Americas restaurant. Were often here on the weekends to visit Barnes and Nobles. Theres plenty of covered parking.

Came here to visit Allen Edmonds and the streets were kind of a hassle to maneuver when trying to get into this parking area. Other than that, the aesthetics in this area were very pleasing.
