Everything for everyone. Restaurants, shops both big and boutique, bars and lounges. A great place to spend the day walking around, stopping for food, coffee or desert. Visit some of the boutique stores or large chain shops. 4 stars due to the nightmare of parking. Save yourself the headache and just park in the main parking garage. You might have to pay but its cheaper than getting towed or spending an hour looking for a spot. The best alternative: start your day at one of the restaurants that offers valet and keep your car there after you meal to walk around. Just make sure to check when they close or you might get stuck without keys :)

Stopped by with my wife this afternoon after a doctors appointment, to have lunch at Jasons Deli. It was raining hard, and we were surprised to see all the parking meters! We finally found two parking spots in a lot by the FedEx store, jumped out with our umbrellas and made our way to the Deli. When we returned my truck had been towed! Cost a whopping $223. Dont think my wife or I will be returning to Rice Village in this lifetime! Its a shame that the developers greed has ruined such an otherwise, delightful place. It will continue to decline! Too bad for them.

Parking is inefficient with 24/hour meters. There is no customer friendly reason for charging for parking after the shops close. Rice Village management is just greedy! I used to visit Rice Village all the time. Now, that only the garage is free parking and youre limited to 2 hours only, I have stopped coming as frequently as I used to. I like to quickly run in and out without having to pay for parking or spending hours going from store to store. Paying for parking takes time. I will do more online shopping instead of coming here.

Shopping is not a spectator sport, but with Orlando’s tourist throngs coming out en masse to sack the city from outlet mall to retail mega-center, it can sometimes be a contact sport. The cool part? Venues such as the Buena Vista Factory Stores and Orlando Premium Outlet on International Drive are often microcosms of sorts – modern day bazaars where travelers from distant lands, speaking different languages come to buy the things they need. Of course, True Religion jeans and Nike cross-trainers

I use to love this place until they installed pay meters. Then La Madeleine closed. Ill go here maybe for Half Price Books, otherwise Ill go elsewhere to shop. I think it was really a cheap move to put in meters. It shows to, the lots are not nearly as full as it use to be. Be careful about parking at FedEx; even if you buy something there and then walk to another store, the FedEx people will issue you a ticket. They have a watcher in the store.

This is a really lovely outdoor style shopping mall in a beautifully landscapes neighborhood of Houston. It is a nice mix of restaurants shops and boutiques, some locally owned and some chain stores. Most of them are higher-end so bring your wallet. But either way its supposed to go to walk around on a cool evening. On certain weekends they have the Rice Village Flea Market as well when local vendors come and sell their Wares. its a fun time

Where else just off of 59 can you find a selection of French cafe, wine bars, Indian, Taiwanese, taco stand and a specialty British store offering a selection of foodstuffs you cant buy anywhere else and if you like Pier One you can go shopping there as well. Although I dont go anywhere here during busy times. it is impossible to enjoy yourself with so very many people and nowhere near enough parking

This latest trip to Rice Village was mildly frustrating. The second story parking above the shops was under construction. There was no visible signage indicating that. Nor was there any indication that the lot was full. This made for a fruitless search for parking followed by a time consuming exit around construction debris and all of the other drivers attempting to navigate the same things.

As a whole, it has many and all things to do. Shopping, eating, drinking, sports, etc. Located within walking distance of the Rice University campus it is perfect for the students, staff and faculty to make frequent visits. However, the parking is a major parking. You could spend hours trying to find parking. It has gotten better since the parking garage instalment but still an issue.

This place is amazing with its mix of small businesses like the Chocolate Bar and Coco Crepes (Im definitely a foodie haha!). Also, half price books! Finding parking for those who drive can be difficult, especially at peak hours and work traffic. The roads definitely need fixing but its so narrow and busy that I can understand the struggle in getting that done.

Rice Village is a common shopping area among college students or travelers to Houston. Right now construction is going on but the shops are still accessible. There are food places as well as book stores and places such as Bath & Body Works and white horse black market. They also have a Yankee Candle Store there. There is much more to see and do in the area.

Ive been shopping all over Rice Village since I was a kid. Unfortunately its turned into a tourist trap lately, but its still a fun place to chill on the weekend. The addition of parking meters is also pretty annoying, but hopefully they dont last long down here. Theres a lot of places to really have fun in "The Village", so its hard to stay bored here.

Super cute little outdoor shopping mall! Good quality of stores and great location for getting a quick bite to eat, as there are tons of restaurants around. Our favorite restaurant is the award-winning Spanish restaurant (El Meson) that sits directly across the street from the shopping center. I shop and eat at these locations as often as possible!

Its trendy, local, smallish, but big enough to accomodate a variety of niche banger millennials, generation xers and baby boomers at the same time, day or night. Sylvester Turneround could fix the gaping pot holes peppered throughout Rice, Morningside, and Greenbriar. Not a fan of the recently installed parking meters, although its cheap.

The best thing about this place is that everything is walking distance. You can go eat, shop, have a cigar, ice cream or just a drink; All in the same area. Parking can be troublesome but there is street parking or you can park in the garage and get your ticket validated. If you are on the Dunstan side, use the Valet! Enjoy. :)

Great selection of retail stores and restaurants but unfortunately they just made all the parking surrounding the stores and also including some streets around the Village metered (bad move). Ive been coming to this shopping center for over 15 years and maybe I missed something but Im just not sure why they decided to do that.

Rice Village is a great place to hang out and grab a bite. They have a large variety of food types and bars and shops. They just added paid parking in a lot of places which is really annoying, but many places do not have it. Also make sure to check out the garages which are very useful and not everyone knows about them.

They just installed meters on every parking spot. Totally unnecessary—like theyre not making enough profit here or something. It is true that parking was always fairly full before at peak times. Now, I guess just those with the extra cash to spend on a meter will come. Yay for (even more) gentrification, I guess!
