Parking sucks but this is a great one stop place if you live close. Lots of food options from Panda Express to an amazing Chinese Restaurant 888. There is an Old Navy, Ross, Marshalls, Best buy, and a Party City just to name a few stores. It is it an indoor mall so be prepared if the weather is acting like Houston. This is a majority Hispanic area so if youre not English speaking this is the place for you. I love the Mexican hotdog stand outside of HEB bacon wrapped and fresh all the way is the best and they have Elotes. The HEB has steamed fresh to order seafood and usually has crawfish when they are in season. There is a Foot Locker and Footaction too. Overall thumbs up and I visit this location at least once a week!

I am not an H.E.B. shopper because there isnt one near me and I had previously only shopped in their older stores (which I hate because of their Rat Maze produce isle that herds people like cattle being lead to slaughter). Much to my surprise this store was Amazingly free of winding mazes. This store is Massive with an open floorplan, it was Free Range shopping in a store that had almost everthing you need and many things you probably dont. Dont come here hungry, youve been warned.

Since this is in the South, the shopping areas are a little rough and cluttered with items almost all over the place. However, if you have grown up and lived in this area, it does not bother you as much. If you are visiting from River Oaks or the Galleria area, do not visit this shopping center. Ive already experienced two rude customers making comments about other customers and employees. The staff were almost always polite and answered all questions that were asked.

Horrible parking! I tend to avoid this area, the Ross there is horrible, the clothes are all over the place. The tmobile people there are sometimes rude and sometimes arent, depends the time of day you go. The only reason i go to the gulfgate center is to go to HEB, and I park on the side where there is less people because its soooooo croweded.

The mall is accessible to Hwy 45 & I-610 and provides parking spaces near each retail store. Restaurants galore surrounds the mall and several banks are within the area. HEB store is the main grocery store in the mall and their prices and merchandise are affordable. There is also a nail salon & HYPD substation on the mall premises.

It has vastly improved from years ago, but they still need to address the empty areas. Also, it isnt technically a mall anymore, more like a shopping strip. Though not a mall, there are still great stores for random everyday needs like HEB, Ross, TMobile, nail shops, Boudreauxs Cajun Restaurant, Game Stop...and even a Chuck E Cheese!

This place was home of the first mall in Houston. Gulfgate mall when it used to have a bowling alley and movie theater. The outdoor concept is nice and the parking is abundant. It could use a bit more cleaning around the parameters as this place had a lot of trash blowing around the parking lot.

This used to be a traditional mall. Its more of a mega strip center now. There is no indoor area that connects all the shops. They keep the "mall" outdoors pretty clean and free of shopping cart clutter. Lots of really good businesses here! There is a constant law presence here now!

Its a great place to shop. You have stores from Foot Locker to and HEB there. There are lots of great places to eat as well. Places near by are El Pollo Loco, Wendys, Papas BBQ, Spankys Pizza and lots of other great places to choose as well. This just might be a one stop shop place!

Absolutely not a fan of this strip.. can never find a parking space and the lines in every single store ESPECIALLY ROSS AND MARSHALLS are ALWAYS EXTRA LONG.. and the customers just throw clothes and shoes all over the floor everywhere... i stopped shopping here months ago

Great mall center. I go there mostly for HEB. Recently went for Party City and it was big, good parking too. Even decided to do some quick shopping for other things I needed to buy even though that wasnt my plan. Theres restaurants there too, I know theres a Wing Stop.

i just love to go into Marshals!!!!! The close are very nice but if you go late in the day or on the weekend its more like a park, moms with children who are running around with no supervision have made me not continue to go there as much. I still love you Marshals

Has all the requisite shops needed to knock out most daily errands. HEB anchors it with retailers like Marshalls, Old Navy, Claires. Eateries include Chuck Cheese, Wing Stop, and Marble Slab. Across the street is a Lowes, Starbucks, Panda Express, and KFC.

Mall is not up kept well but shopping is plentiful so you can keep occupied for hours. Be careful when walking to your car if you shop here at night because this is not the best area of town and a lot of theft occurs here at night.

My food was cold when I got it from the server. It didnt look too busy but it was only one server serving and charging the money. Then he got mad because I only gave a $2 tip. This was on mothers day for us Hispanics.

Great mall with tons of options but the current road construction makes it somewhat difficult to get in and out of this location safely. I would go to another shopping area just to avoid the construction issue.

In my opinion HEB is in the center then you have surrounding hot spots like Ross, Marshalls, Shoe carnival, party city and fooood !!!!! Panda Express, Starbucks, and menchies. The nail shop is a good stop too

So many stores. I live across the street. Its very convenient for my location. Everything is available here from food to groceries to a hardware store and just for shopping for clothes. Highly recommend.

Place always has some construction going on. Street design is terrible and horrible to maneuver through. Though shop choice is pretty good, the area itself just does not feel clean.

I havent been to his place in ages and I dont plan on coming back. Selection is minimal. Crowds are horrible. Parking is hard to find at times. TBH its all about the neighborhood.

Parking is okay. But you can do all the shopping in one place and most clothing store have great deals for holidays and old clothes out new clothes in.
