This place is absolutely amazing, I can tell yall, we been coming for Briargrove Pharmacy for many years as well as many of our neighbor, the care and love we had from the staff is Remarkable,I bit if you can find this level of service anywhere else specially now a days, these people take care of me during my years of fighting with breast cancer and they still taking care of me and my family, while its to hard to reach a doctor even a nurse to just ask a question, Briargroves Pharmacist always there to answer our concerns, I had an issue one time with my insurance they wouldnt cover one of my medicine and was very expensive, Sally (The owner) fight with them until they paid for it not only that she gave me my medication even before the insurance pay anything since I had to have it and I couldt wait for the stupid insurance to pay for my medicine. I always tell my friends I am thankful for two things (live in Texas and having Briargrove Pharmacy in the neighborhood) If you looking for a real people with hart and willing to go above and beyond their limit helping others, this is the place to go and trust...

I always make it over there last minute before they close to fill my prescription and I always regret it so much! I never have time to look around at the gift store for more than a couple minutes. I absolutely love the gift store. They have the best selection of high-quality gifts like candles stationery and even childrens gifts and books. they have an excellent selection of cards & stationery at decent prices. what is pleasantly surprising is that they have really good prices on a lot of their health items like contact solution. I could spend hours and way more money than I should at this place. I Drive here all the way from Sugarland, so that should tell you something. The employees are always friendly and helpful also. I dont have insurance and they charge almost twice as much as other places for my generic prescription so if youre paying out of pocket I highly suggest calling first to find out the price of your medicine. they are able to fill my prescription in 10 minutes or less and there is a reserved parking right by the door so that is huge plus also.

Agree with Abby Doodle... Briar Grove is worthy of your support. Its a survivor amidst the Walgreen & CVS sweep, and for good reason. To wit: After a recent major back surgery, my doc recommended a pain medication, for post-op pain, that would allow me to return to work quickly. I could NOT find this med anywhere in metro Houston (12 phone calls, spent 1/2 day chasing it down) w/o a 1 week order delay. Briar Grove had it in stock. The staff were also very courteous in the way they handled the "checking" they had to do in order to dispense this scrip. And, were quick to offer some customer insights into the various side effects I might expect. The store has an interesting mix of diverse inventory as well... see Abby Doodles review. Good people, great inventory management... worthy of your business!

Soon as I said I was in pain management, didnt ask if Id had several back surgeries etc..just said what meds, and when I told her two class II drugs, they arent taking new patients. My Dr has been there a mile away for yrs..whats that? Profiling, descrimination, ILL NEVER TELL ANY ONE ABOUT THIS STORE, although they filled a friend of mines meds, same type there for yrs. I can say, they werent rude in tone of voice.but still..slap in the face. I cant help what happened to me and I have chronic pain..I hope nothing like that happens to them, so they feel the turn down bs "not taking new patients" I have good insurance and Im just blown away! Gave it one star, other wise Id give it zero for being prejudicial on handicapped patients in pain management.

If you are a cash paying customer DO NOT GO TO BRIARGROVE! They charge almost double than what other pharmacies charge! My son was placed on a new adhd medicine which is kinda hard to find. After a dozen phone calls, I found Briargrove who said they had it in stock. They charged me 125$ Two days later i discovered HEB has it in stock for 69.99! What an absolute rip off! Thats almost double! Why would anybody pay double for a prescription at Briargrove??! Yes they do have some cute trinkets and gifts which are ridiculously over priced as well and can be found at hallmark or pottery barn for much cheaper. The pharmacy staff is unremarkable. So what are you paying double for?? The ambience?? Please.Briargrove is a complete rip off.

I have told them three times in the last week to change my doctor and they still to wanted to fax my old when they suddenly didnt fill the prescription I asked the pharmacist for on Tuesday and she told me I had a refill for. I asked the owner if his staff was properly and said to come back later to see their records. I was dismissed by without an answer why it took so long to change a doctor. IF they cannot do that, can they properly enter a prescription or an allergy. May the State of Texas should check on that. They filled a prescription twice in one day for my girl friend because they dont care to read their computer correctly. I am only interested in performance not training records.

I have been a customer at Briargrove since 2010. I live west of the city but go to Briargrove because I cannot find any other pharmacy to fill a certain prescription that my doc prescribes me. I always look forward to my visits to Briargrove because the pharmacy staff is A+ and fills my prescriptions very quickly. I also adore the staff that runs the gift store. Juan always has a big welcoming smile for me and I feel more like a friend than a customer. The gift store staff is always very attentive to all customer needs and very professional. I truly hope that the owners of Briargrove never change the way they do business. In my opinion, it could not get any better!

Hats of to one of the best still living neighborhood pharmacies. They still carry what the box pharmacies do not. They also offer compounding services which most other box stores do not. The people are very friendly and always willing to take the time to talk to you about a medication or help you with a sale. If you want some unusual greeting cards, candles, jewelry ---it is like it should be ---they are there for you along with toys, other womens glamour products, collectibles, and more. I love going up and down the aisles while waiting on my prescriptions. There is always something I can find to take home. Thanks for being so great.

I m a new patient to Briargrove Pharmacy. I left my Walgreens pharmacy which is about a mile down the road from where I live in The Heights because I was just fed up with the service and rude pharmacy manager. I found Briargrove Pharmacy, (which is NOT a mile from where I live by the way), and they were able to get all 4 of my prescriptions filled in no time without any issues whatsoever. The staff was undoubtedly kind, friendly and genuine and made me feel like Ive been a customer for years. Needless to say, I walked out of there with a smile on my face.
