THESE PEOPLE ARE LIARS!!! So a few weeks ago we were directed by our insurance company that they provided coverage for our vision. When we went in we were greeted and were elated to see that they had premium branded frames. We pay for a $200 dollar frame deductible. So we get there and after confirming they take our coverage they looked at our plan and say "YOUR INSURANCE DOES NOT COVER PREMIUM FRAMES". We were disappointed and were willing to settle for a subpar frame. We had to leave and planned to be back. Today, we walk back in and after my wife was really not happy with settling, I told her Id call the insurance company to lodge a complaint. I thought it was ridiculous that they would not cover for premium frames. After explaining my concern to the agent on the phone, she verified that they were an in-network provider and then said "Mr. Garza, I have never heard that before. Are you there, Id be more than happy to clarify that with the provider." So handed them the phone and after speaking for 5 seconds the rude young man told them that they do not pay. So another lady came over and then stated that they choose not to take the insurance for premium frames. Its a store policy. This is a family run business, looks like Pappa, Momma, and the youngster work there, and they all think it is okay to lie to customers and cheat them out of using their own benefits. If you dont like working with an insurance company then drop them. Dont stand there and have your entire store staff lie to customers about what benefits they are entitled. I cant stand being lied to, I feel that these people think we are idiots. But, we are hispanics and they probably do this to everyone and get away with it. Unbelievable!!! Stay away is my suggestion.

I cannot give this place enough stars. From day one, this establishment has done NOTHING but go out of their way to help us and give us the quality service that we needed. I have referred my family and friends and they also never once complained about service or the type of options available to them. I do not have insurance for my vision. I pay out of pocket. I am not by any means wealthy; what this means is that their choices are affordable and they WILL work with you to give you what you want. I have had frames on hold for several weeks until I could afford to get them. My daughter goes in and gets her frames adjusted and they are quick to serve. They really care about their customers, to the point when my fiance passed away, they came to his memorial. I cannot be any more happy with how they run their establishment and anyone who goes there will truly see that they DO care about you and will treat you as family.

My name is Lanning Blish and Im the owner of Valle Vista Optical, Inc.The slanderous, defaming and potentially libel review posted here my Mr. Frank Garza is a false review of our establishment. We are not contractually bound to offer particular brands and in fact have Carte Blanche to exclude brands where we see fit. This was confirmed by Provider Relations at his insurance company on 09/14/15. We allow and offered literally over one thousand brand frames his family could have chosen from, but refused as it was not the one brand they wanted. As per HIPAA we are not privy to members insurance benefits at other optical businesses . My Associates know only our arrangement. These people stood under my roof and asked for benefits which were told and are still being told today to our customers with full transparency.

Always a first-rate experience and the best selection of frames in the RGV. I went in with a quote from Visionworks that was equal in quality of frames and lenses and they were able to quote me with the same bogo deal offered at the other store with a cost of less than $170! Never go anywhere else!!

I never felt so much hospitality while at a eyeglass store. They went above and beyond my expectations. I would recommend that everyone who needs a pair of eyeglasses or sunglasses go and see them. Alan and his mom and dad truly love what they do! Thanks guys!!!
