I needed $40 cash and they only give $20 max when buying stuff at the register. Sucks but no issue here yet even thought I would have to pay the atm fee to get the money I needed. Then I went to the atm the machine sucked my card in and then said error temporarily out of service without giving me my card back. I told the person who had just checked me out and his response was "Oh I dont know anything about that machine. Its another company." Im sure that there was some truth to his statement but it was the lack of customer service that got under my skin. I had to demand a manager who came over made a phone call and the atm spit the card back out. I found the entire situation ridiculous and I see this Walgreens seems to have a history of bad reviews. Not surprised at all to see their review score with that type of customer service.

If I could give a zero score I would. I work graveyard shift so I sleep during the day when remaining world are up. I attempted to get a refund at this location and had lost my receipt. Inexpensive item, not that it should matter. The manager flat refused & looked at me as if I had stolen the item. I explained that I worked nites & he still yet refused telling me i needed to return during daytime shift to get it. Why does it matter what time of day it is in order to get a refund if Im following their store policy???

OK, yes, Im the same person who yesterday slammed the Walgreens at 101 W University, and I stand by that review. To be fair, though, I wanted to give credit where credit is due. The pharmacy folks at THIS Walgreens were friendly AND efficient. Im sure others of you on Medicare will get a call and a letter, as I did, that you have to switch to a Preferred Pharmacy. I highly recommend this Walgreens on 288. They were wonderful!

This pharmacy is a scam, and anyone who attempts to fill their prescriptions here should be warned that they can charge up to 600% more than other companies for the exact same medication. More than that, the staff is rude and it can take up to 30 minutes for them to assist individuals they dont like. Never stepping foot in another Walgreens due to the negative experience I had at this location.

I went to this Walgreens after my usual pharmacy started carrying a different generic of something Im on. Customer service at the pharmacy needs an overhaul. I waited for up to seven or eight minutes to be helped at drop off and pick up. I did appreciate that the pharmacist, Brian, took care of a problem with my rx. Overall, mediocre experience.

I love Walgreens but this location has the most rude staff ever. Especially the managers. Unhappy rude people who take it out on innocent customers. Ive never been so insulted!!!

Good Walgreens when its open. Not a 24 hour store. I give it 2 stars because its always closed when I need to go there.
