The very best people and Jewelry in Dallas. We found them 18 years ago when we moved to Dallas. Well worth the trip from McKinney and Frisco. We dont buy jewelry anywhere else as Gabe and Becky, the owners, have excellent taste at all price levels, and keep up with trends. Truly, they secure newer top jewelry designers product before Neiman Marcus and are exclusive in some of those designs. They are truly full service, as they create unique pieces from their Goldsmith family owned factory in South Texas where my wife had her original 25 year old Tiny wedding ring melted down and recast as a unique necklace pendant with her original 1/4 carat diamond. We replaced it with a 1 carat unique design with several other diamonds surrounding it. A really special setting and very eye-catching design. Our good friends from Chicago bought a unique patented ring design 7 years ago when visiting. I was able to buy my wife a different colored gem ring of the same design for this Valentines Day. Now shes got matching rings with her long time friend. It really says volumes when your friends visit from another large city and find our jewelry here in this Dallas store is far superior to what they find in Chicago. Exquisite taste and unique design is what you find at Gem Classics. Sold by people who become your great friends over time. A family run and owned store, nearly museum quality at various price levels. Fun to shop each time we go in.

I started out with a size (9) engagement ring. I got my finger sized at two stores and was told I was a size (7). I sent it out for my first resize. It came back too loose and the stone always slid down into my hand. I went to Gem Classics for my second resize because I didnt want to wait another 2 weeks to get it sized down again. After measuring the ring and my finger correctly it turns out my first resize from the original retailer was wrong. The ring was sized to a 7 1/2 and my finger is not a 7, its a 6 1/2. Gem Classics custom made a 6 1/2- 6 3/4 size. It fits perfectly. Although my custom engraving did not survive the ordeal from a size 9 to 6 1/2, I finally feel that my ring is in the perfect size and is no longer frustrating. Do NOT get resized in a chain store (Zales/Kays/whatever is in a mall.) These are salespeople, not trained jewelers that understand that your finger changes size depending on the seasons and when youre cold or hot.

Couldnt recommend Gem Classics enough! They are super friendly and incredibly skilled in their field. Really great family business. Gem Classics was the first place I went to look at engagement rings and I actually didnt end up looking anywhere else because after my first visit, they had already gained my trust. Being jewelers and not salesman by trade made a big difference. I gave them an idea of what I was looking for, told them my budget, showed them some rings I liked online and they crafted a ring that was more than perfect. In addition to that, their service guarantee was the cherry on top of an already very pleasant transaction. The Romos will treat you like family, you cant go wrong there!

Ill start by saying Gabe is one of the coolest people Ive ever met and he is a true professional. I like that it has been a family owned company for nearly a century, and you get that feeling when you work with them. I took my wifes ring to get cleaned, and the best possible deal they have costs around $70 and it was worth every penny. The ring was a mirror image of when I picked it up for the first time - I was surprised that it could look so nice! In all, the customer service was unbeatable and the quality of the work was excellent. Dont be scared to let them handle your jewelry!

I had an engagement ring resized here. Price was reasonable and service was excellent. They finished the work before the due date they originally quoted me and the quality is very good - they used their best judgement to size the ring down a bit more than originally intended to fantastic result because the fit is amazing. They also offered to clean and inspect the ring any time I wished now that theyve done work on it, which is a great perk to be offered on such a minor transaction. Overall great experience.

This place is truly fantastic. I wanted to have my vintage engagement ring resized. Gabe went above and beyond for me! He gave me interesting information about the ring and took great care with it when resizing it! It was sparkling when I picked it up! He even said they could do a custom wedding band to go with it when we are ready! Also, I was promised my ring would be finished on a certain date and they held their promise. Such an easy and reassuring experience! I would recommend this place to anyone!

I took in some earrings for some new posts to be put on them on a Friday and the manage r was very friendly and gave me a claim slip and told me it would be about a week before the repair was finished. I received a call and an email 6 days later telling me that they were ready. I really appreciated the heavy dose of great customer service. The cost of the repairs was very reasonable as well. Will definitely be returning to Gem Classics as I always have some kind of jewelry or watch repair.

Gem classics worked with me to convert my mothers ring into a wonderful set of diamond earrings for my daughter, and with the two smaller diamonds I now own a beautiful custom made ring for myself. Once you experience Gem Classics, you will never go anywhere else. The Romos are an exceptionally honest and talented family. They are the only Jewelers that I would personally recommend.
