It’s been a little over two years since I proposed to my wife, Courtney, which means it has also been a little over two years since I had the unique opportunity to work with Mitch Rosen, owner of Aura Diamonds, for the ultimate wholesale loose diamonds experience. I’ve recently seen commercials where the paid actor will exclaim, “finding the perfect girl is hard enough, but finding the perfect ring is impossible”. That would certainly be the case if I walked into any cookie cutter jewelry store only to be left with buyer’s remorse. If I went the traditional route of buying an engagement ring and wedding band there is no way I would be inclined to write a review like this one. That’s because if I went the traditional route I would not have known about the great opportunity to purchase the exact same product at a wholesale price. I would not have been able to afford the custom design my wife deserved without working with Aura Diamonds. I spent a third of the cost for the exact same loose diamond and custom design I would receive anywhere else, and without the pushy salesperson breathing down my neck, asking if I am ready to make my purchase. There was zero pressure to “buy now”. Mitch sat down with me, allowed me to hold each loose diamond, examine each diamond one at a time, educated me on what I was looking at, and walked me through the exact custom design I knew my wife would love. The collection of loose diamonds Aura Diamonds has to offer will allow you to find the perfect match for your perfect spouse. I can safely say there is no other place I’m going to purchase custom designs from ever again, and no other place that can beat the wholesale price that Aura Diamonds has to offer.

Mitch at Aura Diamonds was a pleasure to work with. I had visited a mix of mom-and-pops, wholesalers, dealers, jewelers, but no one was invested in my personal knowledge of what I was buying more than Mitch. His genuineness becomes apparent and really made the difference in my choosing Aura Diamonds to custom design my fiancées engagement ring. I luckily had an idea on the general design, but over 3 or 4 visits, we were able to create what was a home run. Mitch showed a great deal of patience with me as I must have looked a several dozen loose diamonds. At the same time, he made sure I knew what to look for, and what drives both the value and the brilliance of each style and type of diamond. If you are in the market for a custom piece of diamond jewelry, you would be hard pressed to find a better experience. Not to mention, since Aura Diamonds works wholesale, the variety of loose diamonds to choose from was endless, and the price was very competitive. All I had to do was give Mitch a general direction and he took off with it. More importantly, he listened! Cant tell you how many times I was being sold on something I didnt want at other shops. My fiancée and I will definitely be back for the wedding bands, and more, in the future.

In fact he not only did an amazing job on my wifes engagement ring, but I used Aura Diamonds/Mitch to create my wifes wedding band, as well as my wedding band. Aura Diamonds is an awesome place to shop for custom designed jewelry. I don’t remember when I last wrote a review for an establishment but I was so pleased with my experience that I had to share. The staff working at Aura Diamonds are extremely friendly, attentive but most importantly, they have the best selection of loose diamonds available. Mitch and Gary were very patient, understanding and listened to what I wanted for an engagement ring. With their wholesale prices, they were able to match me with the perfect diamond that met my budget and exceed everything I could have asked for in a ring. Overall the ring came out flawless and I couldn’t be happier with my purchase. Wonderful experience and highly recommended.

The whole process of designing the ring and choosing the diamond was absolutely amazing. I personally felt that the guys at Aura diamonds truly love what they do, and helping you get what you want. They are very knowledgeable and enjoy their work, not only the jewelry, but also with teaching you the customer about how you should look at diamonds and help you decide what you would like based on your price range and design wants. Customer support was off the charts, you leave a message if you cant directly get ahold of them, and they will call you back promptly. I know that this experience was not only fun, but educational. I know for the future that I will be working with the guys over at Aura diamonds again.

Aura Diamonds was able to find incredible, high quality, loose diamonds at an amazing, wholesale price. They easily custom designed the rings I wanted. When I first looked into purchasing a ring, I knew my future fiancé was looking for a specific design from a particularly pricey jeweler. Aura Diamonds was able to mimic the style with ease at half the cost (I mean thousands off). When it came to my wedding band, I was able to get a unique design as well that fit my passion and personality. Mitch took the time to show me what makes a loose diamond "great" and, through the custom ring process, provided CAD pictures, made adjustments as needed, and gave superb advise on what would look the best.

They were the only jewelers that went above and beyond to find the diamond I knew existed, but others couldnt find or provide at an affordable price.
