I Norma love to shop at this H-E-B but today was my last day. I went to the store to pick up a few items. Upon entering the store I heard some load talking but did really pay it any attention because the store is busy(as per usual). I got what I need and proceeded to the check out. I again notice the loud taking that turn into yelling. I noticed there was a Caucasian customer in line yelling at an older African American woman. The Caucasian lady told her to go back to where she came from and this was her country. The African American customer did not respond, she turned her back and tried to complete her check out, all while the Caucasian customer got louder and more vulgar. As the black lady walked away the white customer followed her a few steps to continue to verbally assault this woman. There were several managers in the check out area and no one tried to address the situation. The cashier was a young black girl who was clearly upset at what was going on and in tears(and she continued working as best as she could). Once the white customer finished checking out she walked in the direction of the black customer( who was giving a complaint to customer service in tears) to continue her rant and began to take her shirt off as if to physically assault the black customer and told her she would get her outside. Again no managers stepped in. Then another black female customer step and told the white female customer to leave the lady alone, which made the white cutstome even more angry and louder. Then a manager step in to try to calm down the situation. After I checked out, My husband tried talking to a manager and he seemed unconcerned about this situation and very nonchalant. I feel this situation could have been handled better and quicker. It didnt have to get this far. I feel the managers should Botha e allow the Caucasian customer to be so rude. She should have been escorted out of the store long before she did. She was allowed to disrespect customers and other H-E-B staff. Because of the way it was handled and how unconcerned management was about this, I wont be shopping here anymore and Im going to make sure everyone I know heard of this incident and how it was handled.

Continually getting worse. This store used to be great. There are always several things that they are out of like whipped cream, the Central Market brand milk, and most recently they were almost out of salt. The store employees are the biggest problem here though. They use to be very friendly and actually knew how to bag groceries. Now you are lucky to get acknowledged while checking out, the baggers just throw as must as possible into the bags and they now refuse to put any types of bottled water that you buy into cardboard carrying cases. Those make a world of difference for someone like me that buys a lot of bottles during one trip but nope cant do it, for wine only now. Improve your customer service and train your people better. Maybe I will return. As for now, the Kroger Marketplace down the street is where I will be shopping.

Disgusted by your employee Jaylah ( AA female blue shirt). On Sept. 13th my fiance and I purchased 429.00 worth of food. We donated some of those food items to Hurricane Harvey Victims. As I stood at your counter Jaylah stood 3 feet away from us staring at us and texting on her phone. She watched my hands to see the credit card that I would pull out. She leaned over to her co worker and mouthed " food stamps" to another female co worker and giggled. When i caught eyes with her she immediately looked away and pretended that she did not see me. I have NEVER received food stamps and neither has my fiance. Jaylah is disgusting and unprofessional.

Love the customer service, great selection, great location, while your shopping the customer service is great...so why only 4 stars? As soon as you get to the check out you never know if the person bagging your groceries (the ones you just spent over an hour of your life picking out) will show respect and carefully pack you grocery bags or of they will just chuck your stuff in and ruin some of your more delicate purchases. I have had some amazing baggers and some people... like today... who are awful and literally throw your stuff in the bag. Its the one and only thing I dislike about this store.

A little upset. This one particular heb store carries my favorite a&m hats and other merchandise. Its not easy finding heb with a&m merchandise. Last week I bought a few hats that where originally 7.00$ down to 3.50$ Sign said all Texas A&M and LSU Appel on sale 50%off. I was all excited to come back today here a few more. Both worker and manager said the price doesnt match the merchandise. But thats the same hatibought for 3.50 last week. I took pics of the sign. Im very upset on how how the manager was talking to me. But I will take this to the corporate I have photos of price and the sign

This AMAZING grocery store saved my family during the horrendous flood!!! We were stranded outside of their doors with no food or water. 2 incredibly generous employees (Tammy and Steve) opened their doors for us into their break room and fed us from the kindness of their heart. The store was closed but they opened it for us to stay dry. They invited us to stay as long as we needed to before our rescue boat arrived. I will never shop at another grocery store again. You dont know what that simple act meant for our family. God bless you!!!

This is my favorite grocery store, hands down!! They have an excellent selection of items, great meat department, produce is always consistently good with a nice size organics section, and I always find what I need at the bakery. The sushi bar is one of the best ones Ive ever encountered at a grocery store! Additionally, they do an effective job providing international fare. I appreciate all the locally made, Texas specific products H-E-B offers. Best yet, the staff here are friendly, always willing to help, and know their stuff.

DO NOT THE CRAWFISH!!!! The family and I decided to go the lazy route and buy some of the boiled crawfish at this HEB and found out the hard way that they are the saddest waist of money. The majority of the crawfish had straight tails (indicating that they were dead before being boiled) and the seasoning was nonexistent except the strong flavor of salt. Do yourself a favor and boil your own or go to a decent crawfish restaurant and spend the extra few bucks.

I love HEB because of the quality of their produce and the cute decorating things they have in the flowers department, there is where I get my coconut oil. I also bought there all the traveling small things my daughter needed for her trip to Florida, and I love the low cost dog food, and I love the bundles they have. I also like buying make up and shampoos there.

This HEB has some of the best produce, seafood, and meat selection I have seen in a grocery store. This location is always clean, well kept, and the checkout process is quick regardless of how busy they are. We always are met with friendly staff at the register and bagging our groceries. Ive visited other locations, but this one is by far the best in our area.
