I am a tourist I got some stuff from this location but I didnt notice those items were hanging in the wrong siza hangers. Once a noticed I came back to the store to exchange this items for the right sizes. The lady from the customer service she refuse to exchange those items cause I didnt have EEUU driver license. I explained her my ID is my passport. She called her manager in duty but she told me the same. No exchanges with passport. How is possible they cant accepted passport this in international ID valid in entire world. So why dont have a sign where I can read only united stated citizens can buy and exchange. Very very bad experience. You all have to review your return and exchange policies.

Great Academy located on the corner of 2920 and 249. Its always quick and easy to get in and out of here. The employees are always super nice and willing to help and are very knowledgeable about the products they sell. This is one of the only Academy left in the area that has an archery expert on hand to help you with anything you need for your bow including adjustments, refletching arrows, setting up sights and drop away rests! For some reason Academy is phasing out theyre archery services.

Not handicap friendly. .Was disappointed that they only have 1 handicap scooter and you are not allowed to use it to your vehicle even when there is someone with you to return to the store. Plus the merchandise is so crowded, you cant get to the things you need to buy. The company needs to realize that even though someone is handicapped (or even large for that matter) they still find ways to be athletic. 2xl is the largest size Ive ever found and have never seen a tall in anything.

Worst customer service for repeat gun buyers! The old man behind the firearms counter, which btw knew nothing about guns or accessories, accused me and my fiancé of a "straw sale" meaning we were lying about who the gun would be posseded by. We are both 25 years of age with no criminal record of any kind. He simply did not want to sell us a gun and made his own assumptions. He was extremely rude and lost a $400 gun sale! Do not go there for a firearm!!

Went to buy shoes for my son. On July 20 th during the week around 1:30pm. Store was not busy because we found two sales associates not doing anything but they couldnt help cause they had a shoe department guy, that was busy with a customer. Then when that guy came, he was of no help. He just shrugged his shoulders and said the shoes on very top that we wanted were not it. Didnt even pull them down. Very poor customer service.

Why does Academy not carry ANY respectable cargo shorts? I dont need cute little swordfish images on my damned shorts! Do MEN shop there anymore? Seems like its overgrown effeminate boys with beards that like pastel flannels, SpongeBob fuzzy pants and awful florescent collared shirts... Its hard to shop at academy these days. Amazon got my business instead. Again.

I dont shop at Academy often because there isnt one near my house but I decided to go to Academy to shop for some cheap shoes. I found these really cute 4th of July canvas shoes for my daughter. They rang up $3 they were super cheap but excellent quality. The cashiers were sweet and helpful.

Customer service is top notch here. I called ahead to check if they had a shoe size in stock. They checked and even put it behind the customer service desk for a fast and easy exchange, as I had purchased the wrong size for my son earlier that day.

Personally I really like it there I am very outdoorsy and if you do sports its a great place to go unless you do horse sports then I would recommend South Texas Tack but I get a lot of my pocket knife at academy and they are really good.

Went in to see if they had a Remington 11-87 with a 26 inch barrel. Before I could finish what I was saying ROBERT barked "No!". ROBERT and his attitude epitomize why I do not buy firearms from Academy.

Arrived at the store at 9:10pm and it was already closed. The sign on the door says it closes at 9:30pm on Sundays. I checked online before I traveled to the store. Not happy!!!

Its Christmas time and yall have 1 gun counter guy... 10 customers... he spent 20 minutes selling a $99 22. You missed out on a $1000 sell and lots more as everyone left

They recently renovated the store. Much larger feeling and spacious. I love THIS Academy because they have the best archery selection of any Academy in the area.

When comes to work boots dont expect them to last longer then 2 weeks. Or if find a different replacement they may not have your size and say they cant order it

Great selection and service. Also has a pretty good showing of new products for regular visitors. My son and I visit every week and always find something new.

The staff doesnt bother you if you dont need help but if you do need it there is normally someone fairly close willing to help. Things are easy to find.
