TERRIBLE! the prices you see are not what they charge when you get to the register! & when you tell them they just let you know that you dont have to buy it!! This has happened repeatedly!! Plus, the bakery will tell you they make the breads & pastry every morning. But, most of the stuff is at least 2 days old & will be too hard to eat by the morning after you buy it! I fell for this twice. And, my family got food poisoning twice & almost got it a third time. Twice was the salmon in the "fresh" seafood department. Then, I got some Gortons frozen fish. When I got it home it was bad! It had sat out in their "coolers" in the aisle too long & started to defrost then was put back in the freezers to freeze again! Someone is gonna die because they cant follow BASIC procedures! STAY AWAY! And dont bother calling the manager bc they wont do anything to fix it. They did replace the salmon the first time we got sick but it was with more bad salmon! & then when I told them they said it was too bad bc it was free! It wasnt free! I paid for the first bad salmon!

I came across town to this Tom Thumb because my neighbor said they were always stocked with sugar free baked goods. That is not the case. To start, the parking lot was crazy. There were kids selling things blocking the door way and running in circles completely unsupervised. There was no bin to recycle bags. The carts were stuck, bent and with trash in them. All this before you get in the store. Nice sidenote...Every employee I encountered was gracious and helpful. Everything was over priced. I couldnt find any sugar free baked goods. They were out. There was only one sugar free cake mix in the baking isle. And I got the last box of sugar free cheesecake flavor jello pudding. The womens restroom was a mess. I did alert them to that. They were a bit slow to open up registers, but they did do it. I was only in line 8 minutes. I will not drive across town to this store next time.

Ive been coming to this Tom Thumb for years. Not one time have I ever entered the store without being acknowledged. I love the customer service. Though I generally know where everything is it is nice that the store as a whole asks you if youre doing okay. This store is neat and tidy and has been since Ive shopped here for over 10 years. This morning I went in for fresh baked bagels and some Lavazaa coffee. I love Italian coffee and it tends to be something I search for high and low. As a consumer this store has a soft spot in my chest because I never leave unhappy.

Tom Thumb has never been the same since Safeway acquired them, and now that Albertsons is the parent company well, it’s just gotten worse. This one is usually better than most of the others in the area, but today had that bad grocery store smell where the smell from the seafood department is overpowering from the moment you walk in the store. Service at the check out was friendly, efficient and professional but some of the staff out on the floor were too busy with their personal conversations to help customers. This store can do better and often has.

Stood at customer service for several minutes. No one ever tried to assist me. Finally I turned around and asked the bagger if anyone was working over here. He said oh let me call someone to help you. I understand you are hiring teenagers to work but you must put someone on the front line that knows how to offer customer service. Missing the 5-10 rule!

,i got food poisoning from eating a food item.the frozen food had a tear in it so it was bad didnt know and eat it they need to check there stuff before they put there stuff on freezer shelves was food poisoning bad stuff I told them they said nothing never coming back here again

Decent Tom Thumb grocery store. Located centrally at intersection of Hebron and Josey, it is quite accessible. Provides a good range of products ranging from bakery, meats, packaged food, flowers etc... Not of my most fav locations to shop but will go there if needed.

They always have exactly what I need. Everyone in the store is always very kind to me and sweet to my service dog Marley. They have a wide selection of items to chose from, great prices and even better prices if you have a rewards card.

Its my grocery store of convenience. I dont like changes since Albertsons took over but some things are still same. Not as many service employees. Dont have some items I always used to buy there. Some new employees not well trained.

Good store. Baggers did not bag my groceries, instead one walked around pretending to work. The other also did not budge when asked three times to help. They both ignored requests for help. Just stood where they were ignoring.

Thus store just keeps getting more and more depressing and poorly managed. The deli department is an unmitigated disaster, slow to the point that people just leave the line and walk off cursing under their breath.

Has a weird layout and missing some little things that I needed, like chicken fajitas and cinnamon raisin English muffins. Their meat department leaves a lot to be desired, as does their bread selection

We only use this store when we need to grab one or two items, because the prices are higher than what you would pay going to Whole Foods where you get way better brands and produce for your money.

Its nice inside & usually has what I need, even though I feel that its a little more pricey than other grocery stores I typically use. But when they have sales, they are usually very good.

Great selection and products. But check the prices, I often find that items do not ring up at the posted price. This happened to me today. They were quick to correct the error.

Great place to shop always clean. The deli has amazing choices the crab cakes are my favorite easy to take home and warm up. Bagels and pies are always fresh.

Its a nice store. I usually go there to buy milk. There inventory seems a little low on organic milk. Sometimes i come out empty handed.
