I have never felt the need to write a letter of complaint in a public forum until now. The reason I am doing so is because it relates to one of the most important issues in our life and that is our health. The former Albertson’s Sav On Pharmacy now Minyard’s at Forest & Marsh should NOT be trusted to handle the pharmacy needs of the sick or injured. Without going into details the problems are far too many to mention but the primary ones are. 1. ZERO follow through. They will NOT take care of any problem that arises with your prescription. The will NOT even phone you to let you know there is a problem. You will not find out until you phone or go pick up your medications. Then it is up to YOU to straighten it out. 2. ZERO follow-up on a follow-through. Once you take care of the problem (which 70% of the time didn’t exist in the first place) then they still will not fill your prescription because A. the forgot B. the create another problem C. the warehouse was out of the drug or some other BS that could have saved you a trip by phoning. 3. Doctor prescribes X amount of medication for an illness, but pharmacist decides it is TOO MUCH and gives you less. 4. Even when you stress the patient can not miss a day of certain drugs so please make sure these are in stock when needed…….it is not done. 5. In addition to other problems, when you try to find a way to rectify the situation I ended up getting YELLED at by the manager. 6. Lastly, to avoid transferring my medications to another pharmacy and in hopes of continuing to shop at Albertsons (now) Minyards, I tried to make contact with the general office. I could not even get a manager to phone me. Bottom line……They like to keep their patients jumping through hoops and working hard for their medicines forgetting that (like any company) they are paid thousands of dollars by patients and insurance companies to provide a service. And if you have elderly parents show get their medications filled there, please keep a check and make sure they are not shorting them on their meds or over-billing or treating them like dirt.

BRING BACK ALBERTSONS...My observation is if you dont bring your prices down youll be losing your customers. This past Saturday at 4pm I tried to buy fried chicken. The case was empty. Reason: The Manager ordered the necessary ingredients but "they werent delivered". What a way to run a deli department! So I bought the backed chicken. Tasted like it was roasted two days ago. Canned goods have gone up at least 80%. Dairy about the same. Fruits and veggies about 30%. Your employees are NOT happy. How can you buy out Albertsons and leave them with either no insurance coverage or less than what they had before? This is 2015, not 1965. Watch the movie Selma to get a feel for how youre treating your employees. Youve made them take ten steps backwards. When you were in the process of purchasing you promised to honor the community rewards program. I tried to have the Check-out Agent swipe my card. I was told "the New Management" said we dont honor them anymore. Dont you believe in giving back to the community or do you want everything to yourself? Shame on you. Anyone out there willing to organize an organized protest in the parking lot?

Disappointing! Just stop by the Fresh Market store in my neighborhood (Mockingbird & Abrams) and the first thing that caught my eye was the brightly lit Fresh Market sign placed on top of the DIRTY area of where the Albertsons sign was... Dirty A, Dirty L. Walking in its the old Albertsons...Dumpy & Dim... I want to support Minyards over Tom Thumb, but you make very difficult.... pricing is average.... nothing special.... Wont be back, unless things FRESHn up....

Really confused about where to find aunt jeremiahs syrup, and when I was asked everyone just looked at me in disgust. Also tried to have an intelligent discussion about how the chem trails are controlling their minds and how the nwo will soon be coming to take over their store and enslave them for the rest of their life, but instead was met by obvious reptilian people carrying me out. 2 stars cause a nice young man in a red leather jacket had a firm grip...

Preferably I wouldve liked fresher kumquats and also better employees but I guess you have to choose one or the other, and frankly Id rather take the fresher kumquats. I could go on and on but that was ONE of my only complaints. I mean the prices on all the products could be lower you know?
