I am actually having to change my whole review because they took out what I said on another employee. Which is COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL. (Trust me this is a good read, and exposes the horrible DM and Manager at this location.) This information about the DM and Manager David is valid as of 1/16/2017. Now idk if corporate knows whats going on, or if they are choosing to side with the manager and allowing him and the DM to act the way they do, or if the DM and manager are just lying to save their own butts and corporate has no idea about the truth. The DM is LAZY!!!! When you chose to be a district manager that means you are basically on the clock from open to close. Not get pissed at an employee because they are calling for help on your off day, and then you just dont reply after you told them youd call back. That is how companies break and how stores fall apart. Which is whats happening now in his district. Now to the manager David. David is lazy, unprofessional, a gossip king, and all the things that make up bad management. Instead of listing all of them Im just gonna list the 5 that should have already gotten him fired. 1. He has to change the schedule ALL THE TIME because he cannot make one right the first time, and he will do this without notifying his employees. 2. He is mainly in the back on his phone or sleeping. WHICH I HAVE CAUGHT HIM DOING BOTH. 3. When he is "sick" he coughs on EVERYTHING. He never covers his mouth and it is so nasty. 4. (This is the BIG one) When it comes to his employees he gossips ALL THE TIME. He is constantly talking down about one employee to another. In fact there was a theft problem and he was having other employees watch the employees he suspected. First off as a manager that is YOUR JOB not your employees. You should only be talking to your DM or corporate about issues like that NOT your employees, and also taking on more hours with the people you suspect are stealing. He is to lazy to do that so he is just gonna have other employees do it that dont get paid to do that. 5. He blames his employees for the stores problems. As the MANAGER of that store it is actually on YOU. Everyone in this company lies to save their own butts instead of taking responsibility of the problem and actually making the stores better. The man that took out my review on an employee actually claims I emailed him this review I wrote 6 MONTHS AGO and that is why the employee got in trouble 6 MONTHS LATER. BECAUSE THAT MAKES SENSE AND IS PROFESSIONAL!!! I am not just some random customer that has never worked in management. I have been a manager and a darn good one. I never had to re make a schedule because I made it wrong or because I want this day instead of that day off. I never talked bad about another employee to another because I am THEIR BOSS. When $40 bucks went missing I AM THE ONE who stayed open to close working with all my employees until the problem was solved. You wanna know why this store is so bad? Not because of their employees but because they failed at hiring a descent manager

I always go to this sallys location since I live close by but I always take my 3 year old daughter with me whenever I need something since I dye my hair alot. the last time I went was 3 weeks ago & as soon as I walked in with my daughter a ( guy ) employee looked at me & rolled his eyes like if he was annoyed, but I let it go like it was nothing. at that time my daughter was sick with a tummy ache so she was fussy & winny. every single time she was fussy he would be under his breath saying "wtf" or "oh no" or "this kid". & ofcourse as a mom I got mad but I had to hold my breath not to cus him out so yeah their was only one girl who helped me everytime I went. thats the only reason for the second start! not shopping at this location anymore

I have gone to this store three times now, and have had varying degrees of help and service. When I asked the woman at the front about a product she was completely rude and made faces to me as I was asking the question. If she doesnt want to deal with customers questions she should have someone else answer them because she came off as disinterested and unfriendly. Other times Ive gone I have had pleasant experiences with the other staff who were helpful and friendly; but today was the last straw. I will be taking my business to the other Sally Beauty location on Hebron and Midway.

Usually when I go to Sallys in Dallas the employees are pretty rude and follow me around the store cause they think im going to steal stuff (I understand theft is a problem there but its really rude to constantly bother someone like that). I went to this location because i was dying my hair blue for the first time and a man working there with blue hair helped me find everything I needed and showed me all the products he liked. He was SO NICE and SO HELPFUL, even though it was about ten minutes before close. I appreciate the excellent service

The sales guy was overly talkative when I said I did NOT need help. Fine, better than being mean. Once he found out I was exchanging, his attitude changed completely. Is it coming out of your wallet, sir? It was an exchange anyway! Their policy shows I could have just got the money back, but at least Id try another product. Hes on some kind of mood elevator. Ill just stay over at my usual Addison location here on out.

I bought a hair curler that didnt suit my hair, went to return it and manager David was very rude and said we dont have cash. I paid cash and wanted cash back not store credit. I called again later to see if they have cash. Nope is what they responded! Never going back! Ugh

This is a location that keeps all the gel polishes behind the counter and all the displays are empty plastic bottles. So if you want to look at the polish, you have to wait for an employee to be available and dig it up for you. There is no perusing the colors here.

Employees are horrible with people, in general its just like every other sally but the staff is horrble with people.
