I have to say that the experience here is saddening and actions probably should have been taken for the managers abuse of his power ( i believe his name is Nigel or fidel)by accusing people of unproven thievery and harassment that results in following, spying, staring, threatening to call police, accusing of stealing candy, and telling targets to get out every single time. Starting to wonder if this manager is race profiling? Hes sure scaring this customer away with his overbearing accusations that can never be validated. The way hes running his customers away from this store is not right regardless if its his private property to do as he pleases with. Things of this nature happens every day to good people and never addressed appropriately even when reported. Its actually unsettling to shop here for fear the man will lie one day to a cop and actually put you in jail. Even though this post falls on deaf ears and blind eyes I feel comfort in the fact that Ive written this post for review and maybe many others who have been so rudely disrespected by this dollar generals so called store manager will eventually come forward even if it takes years to reveal this evil. Thanks for your attention.

Very cluttered and messy every time (3 or 4 times) I shopped here. There are no less than three and often times up to six large stocking carts blocking the isles (even on weekends). And yet, I have never seen any employees stocking from these carts that block the isles. They obviously have public restrooms set up, but do not allow the public to use the restrooms. Dark and dirty floors. The employees were so busy talking to each other at the registers that they didnt ring up the items correctly and were slow. The parking at this location is terrible! I have almost been hit two times just trying to park here. Also the parking lot and sidewalk are very dirty. The tatoo parlor next door looks more welcoming than this Dollar General store. I loved Dollar General and shopped there often until I tried this store. Now I go tot he Family Dollar on Trinity Mills (3411 East Trinity Mills, Dallas 75287). Try it instead.

The old man (Jose "Fidel")and I wont give a last name. said he was the store manager but apparently was very incompetent. He accused me of stealing candy?? What grown man goes into a dollar general to steal candy?! The African American ladies are very nice and helpful. If you see the old Arab guy dont go in.Especially if you are African American. Apparently he thinks we all steal. Candy??? Really???

Ill probably go to other locations to use the coupons I receive on my phone. Though this store is near to other places I patronage. I have to agree with other reviews. The store has always been cluttered and the Manager doesnt seem to know much about the operations. **my opinion *** But saving money makes me shop here for a few items, thanks to their emails and notifications.

Not sure whats going on w/this store but it truly looks like its going out of business. The shelves are messy and half stocked there are usually carts of merchandise sitting around, the floors need mopping and buffing the parking sucks and usually there are only two employees present and a line forming 1/2 through the store.

Tried calling them to see if they have an item in stock instead of driving across town and wasting time. The phone was picked up, I wasnt greeted, only told to please wait and after 5 minutes of being on "hold", which was just them setting the phone down, I hung up. Poor customer service!

My experience with this Dollar General what is great they are kind courteous very caring and helpful whenever I need help they are great people and great employees in this place I would advise you go to the Dollar General because its one of the best I have ever seen
