VERY bad experience "after" the sale! 1/16/16 in the evening we bought 3 pieces of furniture to be delivered. Young men in the store were wonderful and very helpful. Even called their "3rd party" delivery guy, "Rodney" to set up next day delivery. He did tell me that "Rodney" was 3rd party and not really associated with the store so he couldnt give me a delivery cost but I could talk to "Rodney". So while I was standing there with the store employee, my husband and 2 other people in my party, we discussed that the elevator from the garage floor to the 1st floor (where the furniture was being delivered) would most certainly NOT accomodate the couch. Rodney agreed that this was a BIG couch and would most likely NOT fit in the elevator so I got a quote of $75 to take it up 1 floor using stairs. We were told we could pay cash or use credit card, but credit card he would charge a $5.50 service charge which I thought was fine. So far, everything is perfect! Next day, "Rodney" is a few hours late but still, not a problem, it happens. While hes standing there with the couch in hand he says now the delivery fee is $125! My adult son is accepting and paying for delivery so I ask him to pass the phone to "Rodney". I ask him whats going on because he quoted me $75 just 24hrs ago. He tells me that its 2 stories now and 2 flights of stairs and he charges $125 for that. I ask him how he figures when the 1st floor apt. is 1 flight up from garage? He says its 2 flights because the stairs go up x amount of stairs, have a platform, then go up another x amount of stairs constituting 2 flights of stairs, therefore justifying the extra $50 bucks. Of coarse I am feeling like hes trying to scam my son and tell him to take his up charge right back to the store along with the furniture and I will get my $$ back and take my business elsewhere. Mid sentence he hangs up on me.... Super professional ! So I have to call the store to see whats going on with this delivery service they lined me up with. 1-17-16. The female manager on duty stated that it wasnt their proplem cause he dont work for them. She was super not helpful at all, nor did she seem to give one ounce of concern that a delivery person recommended by her store was seemingly deceitful. I eventually got the receipt and for the delivery and oddly, it was a Big Lots receipt. That doesnt make sense if hes a 3rd party and not affiliated with the store. Hmmmm. Seems kind of shady to me.... Long story short, my son had no bed to sleep on so we paid the extra "fee" and were done with it. So, let this be a warning to anyone requiring delivery from this particular big lots! Beware!

Horrible experience!! Had to return the couch for the third time. Every time time they sold me the defective product. It got the big whole on both couch and love seat. The love seat was totally torn out. Totally worthless!!! They did not even deliver for the drop and pick up, I had to manage on my own.Had to take lot of hassles!!!! I will never take a step on the big lots now onwards. Dont ever buy any furniture from there!

Had most of what I needed, had great prices and were, for the most part, very organized. My only complaint is that I asked one employee a question and they didnt know the answer and wouldnt bother trying to find out. But a very good place to pice up things like canned food, plates and toilet paper. :)

Great place to shop. Poor customer service. You get ready to check out and always one register open . They have plenty of staff, but one cashier. When they call another cashier they take another 10 minutes to prepare and open the register. I spend more time standing in line than actual shopping.

Come here for the basics. Bathroom goods, kitchen supplies, bottled water and snacks. Never long lines and plenty of parking. Prices are some of the best of any store in the area.

Clean store. Lots of couches/furniture. Never know what kind of home decor or other misc items youll find. Generally low prices.
