Today I took my 9 year-old son (an avid Lego fan) to the Lego Store located in Austin at the Barton Creek Mall. This was our first visit. We live over an hour away from the mall on a little farm, so trips to the mall happen at best only once each year. My kids dont have toys except for Legos, so they are very big Lego fans. Weve wanted to visit the Lego Store for literally years, so today was a very big deal for my son. I cant say enough positive things about the cashiers working there tonight! They gave my son undivided attention and helped him find the perfect pieces for his Pick a Brick box. When he couldnt find a few things he wanted, they even brought out pieces from the storeroom for him to use. He was ecstatic. I was having a hard time fitting a base plate piece into my own Pick a Brick container, and they offered to just throw it in the bag for free. I was shocked and delighted. We built several minifigs to take home for the other siblings to enjoy, and the cashiers brought out additional accessories for us to choose from. We didnt ask for these extra privileges, the cashiers just went the extra mile. We also tried to find a horse for sale since a Lego horse was one of the only things my son asked for as a Christmas gift. We were a bit disappointed to discover all the Calvary sets were out of stock, but decided we would purchase a horse figurine online. When we came home and unloaded our bag from the store, we discovered a gorgeous Lego horse that the cashier had slipped into our bag without us noticing. I cant tell you how shocked my son and I were to discover this piece. My son jumped for joy and couldnt stop dancing and laughing. It was like Christmas morning for him. He hugged everyone in the room and couldnt stop expressing his surprise. It is now after midnight, and he is still avidly playing with his minifigs and horse. Ive never seen such thoughtful and generous customer service. Those cashiers deserve a raise! Congrats, Lego Company. You now have devoted customers for life!

I called ahead of time as I was looking for the complete series 7 set of Lego Mixels. Ive been collecting them since series 1. I called and Reid was very knowledgable of the product and informed me they had all 9 products in the series. I was super excited and said Ill be there soon. In my excitement I hung up before giving my name. I arrived at the store and started collecting the Mixels 1 by 1 when I realized there were only 8 of the 9 on the shelves. Reid saw me collecting them and asked if I had recently called. He had held onto 1 of the Mixels for me as there was only one left in stock. Reid made my day. But it doesnt end there, Rory checked me out and he was extremely friendly and knowledgable about the products as well. Buying Legos from the actual Lego store is better than buying from somewhere else, these guys get it. Great store and great customer service.

The LEGO store is a great place to take the kids. I love the genuine interest the employees have in LEGO products. I took my boys 9 and 11 to the store last week to check out the new Hero Factory items. They got to build with the Hero Factory parts and the man working that afternoon was very encouraging and interested in what the boys were building. I wish they either carried more hard to find items, offered better prices, and or offered more activities/building clinics.

LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE!! Any place that sells a wide variety of Star Wars lego sets is amazing! The staff at this store are always very enthusiastic and actually enjoy talking to you. Not only that, but they also have really cool models set up in the windows! Omagersh!!! Also, if you are looking for something other than Star Wars legos, they have a massive selection of, well, anything you could imagine. GO HERE!!

This is where dreams come to take the form of little plastic bricks and your wallet comes to die. Excellent service, and the setup looks great for a kid (source: Im a kid on the inside). Dont pass on your chance to ogle at the beautiful models and continue to plot the ultimate Lego heist. Just dont mention me in court.

A fun place for all ages. They have a build a model on the first Tuesday of every month for 7-14 year olds. The employees are there to help and assist. They have occasional perks for VIP members too. They have building tables where you can build and get creative.

Very fun store visit every time your at Barton Creek mall. Huge selection of current Lego sets. Very friendly helpful staff and events on the weekends for the kiddos. Join the VIP club for points towards discounts on future purchases. Great for kids and adults :)

We have been buying legos from this store for years. The first time here was for small groups of pieces. We got a bucket and filled it with hundred of piece. It was a great addition to the ones that i already had. The next purchase will be a lego NXT.

You may be used to the selection at Toys R Us or Target, but prepare to be blown away by the selection here. Anything you could want, and several things you didnt know you wanted. (Minifigure ice cube tray? Yes, please.) Staff is also very nice here.

Its a store dedicated to LEGO...extreme selection similar to whats found on the website but irl! You can go home with sets not found @ any other store and they have bulk bricks available...a Legomaniacs dream.

This is a fantastic store. You can pack your own Lego bucket for 14.99. A lot of choices for pieces. Great place to get all the Lego pieces you want.
