I read the earlier review about poor customer service, but thought "I know the precise model number and theyre already holding it for me, how much could that matter?" Enough to make me turn around and walk out, it turns out. I went to package pickup as directed by the sweet lady I had spoken with on the phone, the fine young gentleman retrieved it, brought it to the counter, then asked me to take a number. After having already spent several minutes talking to me, they would not spend the 30 seconds to complete the transaction because "it wouldnt be fair to the other customers". Is that so? You mean those ones that are browsing and shopping and will require a lot of your time? Horrible policy, horrible process. Whoever in management decided that was the right thing to do needs a stern reminder that the point of processes is to limit the overall amount of time people spend waiting around. Making customers who require 30 seconds of your time wait in line behind undecided customers is just dumb. The guy that wouldnt complete my transaction knew it; I could tell it in his eyes and voice. Shouldnt the folks in charge have judgement as sound? Having a queue for the "show me stuff" phase makes good sense; putting package pickup into the same queue, simply put, lost them a couple hundred dollars and earned them this bad review.

I went in to get a ring for my sister for Christmas. There were a ton of people there so I thought maybe Id come back. A lady came up and asked if I need help. I told her what I was looking for and she took me straight to it. She then proceeded to take my order number with the rings I wanted to try and said that if there was anything else I see that Id like to just tell them when they call my name. That way my name can be in line already. When I was called, about 5 minutes later, I was helped immediately and they notice my other jewelry was lacking some polish and offered to polish them for free. I picked those up the next days. Organized, kind, and helpful. Great experience. Especially considering how many people where in the store and how crazy people can be over the holidays!

Wow-- I love James Avery Jewelry but I highly recommend you not to go to this one particular store. I have never had a problem with the people working at James Avery until I moved to Austin and came across this store. The workers do not help you and you have to wait forever when there are very few customers and quite a few employees doing nothing. They then could not help me with the size I needed and went to a store near Round Rock and it was so much better. i do not know why this particular store is so horrible. They need to look into their customer service because I will never return to this one.

This is the only place I buy jewelry. Im not really into the religious concentration but the simple styling of some of their pieces is absolutely amazing. My wifes engagement ring is from here and it is gorgeous. The customer service is some of the best. Take time to visit the factory in Kerrville.

Just stopped in to get my gold Texas charm polished up and the service was impeccable. Staff was incredibly helpful and super friendly. They made my favorite necklace look like new!!! Why did I wait so long to pop in???? In and out in 5 minutes. Give these girls a raise! They are killing it!

Thank you Betty for your amazing patience and courtesy. We returned something with only a gift receipt and she gave us the time to honor it. The store seemed almost not function without her. Great customer service.

Incredibly awkward, and despite there being several clerks free and moving around, I ended up standing there waiting for almost ten minutes before just giving up and walking out. Go to a different store.

If coud I would give this place no stars. It takes 2 sales people to wait on one person and each person takes 30 minutes. This place is ridiculous!

Despite their devotion to invisible men in the sky, they make a solid heavy box chain that doesnt shatter my fragile male ego in sizes up to 30".
