My one and ONLY baker, Ms Paloma! Her cakes: PERFECTION!!! The taste hits the note! So when my little girls birthday comes around - ONLY THE BEST! Despite the long discussions I have with her on the most minute decoration details of the birthday cake, cookies and cupcakes, she DELIVERS! I am quite a detailed person based on my professional background so I find myself hung up on details. Ms Paloma takes every single question and requests seriously and perfects them with grace. I LOVE working with her! This year will be our third year to place a birthday order - not our last! Ms Paloma is one talented baker I can kick back and relax knowing that the end product is beautiful, tasty and perfect in every way! I always enjoy when other mothers ask me who made the cake. ;) Wait till you see and taste her work. Hhhhmmmm!

The wonderful owner of Coco Paloma made a very beautiful Grooms Cake, a wonderful and luscious creation! The cake itself was the most delectable chocolate cake I have ever eaten and the buttercream frosting was to die for! She made us a fabulously accurate UT Tower cake in white and gold, with an orange Longhorn head logo at the base. Two figures on the front are the Groom proposing marriage to the Bride, which is what actually happened on a terrace of the iconic UT Tower!! The cake was greatly admired and enjoyed by all the guests at our sons wedding! We very highly recommend Coco Paloma for specialty cakes!! The owner is a charming, talented lady who is a pleasure to work with and a total professional! There are not enough stars in the rating above to adequately signal our level of satisfaction with Coco Paloma!

I purchased ($175.00) a very basic chocolate/vanilla sheet cake with buttercream frosting and strawberry filling. The chocolate side was light and moist, but the vanilla cake was dense and dry. The frosting was not buttercream but swiss meringue (similar to HEB Elite frosting)...not what I was expecting. The strawberry filling tasted the same as the frosting (although it had a light pink color, none of us could taste any strawberry at all!) The decorating was, sadly to say, also a disappointment...very amateurish and sloppy. When I emailed the owner, it took her a week to reply and although she said she was sorry that the cake wasnt what I expected, she only defended her product and made no effort to make it right. I see wonderful reviews for this business, so I hope my bad experience was just a fluke, but buyer beware!

My cake turned out terrific! And not only did it look great, it tasted even better. Everyone at the party raved over the design and how good it was to eat. No one wanted me to cut the cake because it looked so good but once I did, everyone wanted some, even those who dont usualy eat cake.
