So I went to Moojos on the day of their grand opening with a friend. We waited in line for the better part of an hour to see what the fuss was all about. While we waited, a staff member came by holding a tray of cookie bits and offered it to everyone in line. The first thing you notice when you go in there are the swing sets which serve as seating areas and the giant pastel colored vintage aluminum lamp shades hanging over the tables. The ambience is very cool and hip. Their staff is energetic, friendly and super helpful. Their ice cream flavors are amazing and creative. The cookies...ah..so this is where moojo stumbles a little bit. The cookies are a bit hard to be a part of a cookie sandwich and this is why they dont have a perfect ice cream sandwich like Tiffwich. My second issue with Moojo is the price. For two cookies and a scoop of ice cream to be priced at $4 and being located across the street from a college campus, is a little ambitious. Its a lovely concept, but the execution needs some fine tuning. With location, ambience, flavors and their extraordinarily friendly staff, Moojo has a lot going for it. All it needs is to review its prices or maybe partner with food apps like Hooked.

I wouldnt really go out of my way to return here, for multiple reasons. You have a few cookies to choose from, I was told the cookies were made elsewhere then shipped here, the same goes for the brownies. I decided that I would get a brownie and a butter cookie to sandwich my ice cream. I tried the pistachio almond, but Baskin Robbins definitely has them beat on that flavor. I went with the good ole Cookies and Cream, it was okay, but nothing amazing. Not sure where the ice cream is from. The cookie was as hard as could be and it was not "warm" like others have described. The brownie was also quite hard. So trying to bite with the cookie and the brownie was impossible. The ice cream would just squish out between the cookie and brownie. I gave up on the cookie and the brownie and just ate the ice cream. I ended up tossing the cookie and brownies because it was so distasteful to eat. It was fairly expensive considering what I could get at other ice cream places around town.

Insanely cool idea, I think. Ice cream and cookies. Ice cream sandwiches with fresh cookies. Good implementation. Love the toppings, different sizes, cool ice cream flavors, customizability, etc. Really, if this idea evolves it could be a direct competitor to the popular Amys Ice Cream. Heres what it still needs to get there. Prices are a bit much for the size of the ice cream sandwiches. Also, the ice cream and cookies dont always complement each other, even when youd expect them to. Improve the texture of the cookies with the ice cream, though it isnt bad. A last thing is make sure the cookies arent served hard no matter the time of day. I went once late at night, but the cookie in the ice cream sandwich I had was a bit hard.

Frozen real good, but pigs! Little variety of flavors, almost all chocolate, vanilla and cream (cookies and cream), with option to add toppings. Not cheap, but a simple ice cream was Provide sufficient large. The specialty: Ice cream with big biscuits cookies of different types. Attention super good and the place it is nice and pretty

They advertise vegan options on their site, but when I went they were out of most of their vegan cookies and all of their vegan ice cream. Not sure if this was a one off, or just misleading advertising, but I went out of my way to come here and was disappointed. With that being said, the atmosphere was nice and it had a very attractive interior.

My husband and I opted to do on-site ice cream sandwich catering instead of a wedding cake and were so happy with our choice! Our guests loved them! Moojo was wonderful during the planning processes and were a great addition to our event. I highly recommend them for an any day delicious dessert or for your next event!

AMAZING. The price is reasonable and the ice cream sandwiches are so so good. They have vegan options too! The cookies are warm and the ice cream is super yummy. Its open late and the atmosphere is /modern country chic/. We got to meet one of the 4 owners and she was a doll! Very nice place.

Freshly baked cookies, a large variety of unique ice cream flavors and an atmosphere that complements the playful nature of their ice cream sandwiches. The owner is frequently there and has a unique story to tell about the founding of Moojos. Also, their punch card rewards system is awesome!

The ice cream is good and its great with the warm cookies. The parking is horrible but you are right by UT so what do you expect. It is pretty pricey and the line can get long so expect to wait a bit. The employees were friendly and explained the flavors and answered any questions.

Awesome seating arrangements, wasnt very crowded on a summer Saturday night which was a plus. Lots of yummy flavors, I couldnt decide what to get! Cookies were the perfect texture, not too hard or soft. One of the best ice cream places Ive been to in Austin thus far.

I came here on a cold winter night with a friend. We got some ice cream. The staff was friendly and the service was wonderful. We sat inside for a while. The ice cream was great for my cold soul and the atmosphere kept my body warm. It was overall a great experience.

Had a great time. The cookies are chewey so you can actually bite into your ice cream sandwich WITHOUT the ice. Ream shooting out the other side. The interior is really cool and laid back and they have a good selection of ice cream and cookie flavors.

Really great ice cream sandwiches. Cookies and ice cream are okay on their own, but when combining the two thats what really makes it so good! Like the seating area indoor. Would definitely sign up for their loyalty program as you get offers sometimes!

The idea of ice cream between two, actual cookies is great, especially when you got a good variety for both the ice cream and the cookie, but the price is too much for the amount you get. Dont get me wrong: the size is right, but the price is too much.

I went there for the first time. The shakes were awesome. The Ice Cream Sandwich was good but a bit messy when eating. It started melting before I could pay for it. Other than that service was awesome, staff was friendly, I would recommend you go!

Delicious! I am an ice cream fanatic and there is rarely an ice cream that I dont like. I had Moojos Salted Caramel shake and omg delish. Even though I didnt really get a caramel-y taste, the 2 cookies mixed in more than made up for it.

This is a cute little place, and the cookies are tasty. Theyve got a very basic selection, but everything tastes great. Prices are leaning towards expensive. Staff is reasonably friendly. Overall fun place, worth trying at least once.

Really good ice cream especially in the hot Texas heat and the cookies are great. Their specialty is ice cream sandwiches with whatever cookies you want. I had their raspberry sherbet and it was very fruity. Definitely going again.
