Best, most baller, most "Find Something For Everyone On Your List" gift shop in Austin. And that fact that its locally owned will make you feel good about supporting your local economy (as opposed to opening your Amazon app and ordering). Like so many other reviewers have said, you might have a very difficult time with self control at Atown. Youll want to buy everything. Among the many things that they have that are fun, unique, and make exceptional gifts: - Cute, trendy, classy greeting cards that you cant find at many other places in Austin - A large selection of sizes and colors and the Blue Capri "Volcano" candle, which if you dont know, is the best smelling candle in the history of the world and makes the #1 perfect gift - Lots of fun takes on prayer candles with people like Ann Richards and Beyonce - Several lines of Texas-y and Austin-y T-shirts and a few lines of uber cute Texas-y baby onesies - Plenty of items of all types that reflect Austin culture and history They also have actual parking, which is refreshing for businesses in this area. Oh, and theyll gift wrap for free!

Atown is one of my favorite stores in Austin! Its the store that I excitedly take everyone I know- both visiting from out of town, and locals- to if theyve never been. The selection of goods are all made locally, in Austin, by regular, everyday people who want to sell what they enjoy creating. I actually hope to sell some of my own goods there eventually. ;) If youve never been, I cant stress enough that you MUST go!!! They have something for literally everyone; all ages, genders, sizes, styles. Their selection goes from nice clothes, to t-shirts, to Austin, TX memorabilia, to baby toys, to all kinds of books, to cards for every occasion, to skin care and jewelry, to household items. You simply cannot go wrong here! If ever in doubt of what gift to get someone for whatever the occasion may be, I guarantee you youll find the perfect gift here. And with free wine or champagne and cookies while you shop, you just cant lose.

Atown has great gift finds and unique cards for everyone on your list and for every occasion. The store front appears modest in its strip mall location, but its cavernous inside contains rooms within rooms of clothes, scarves, jewelry (everything from handcrafted items made by local artists to fabulous well known designers), toys, kitschy items, wall art, quality scented candles (I spend an unreasonable amount of time in this aisle), home decor and so much more. Along with stocked favorites, new and seasonal gift items are always coming in so its never the same shopping experience twice. On my recent visit I discovered knitted faux taxidermy mounted animal heads (including a Texas longhorn!), sock monkey slippers, and gorgeous made-in-Austin glass blown Christmas ornaments.

I love to go to Atown to find awesome little gifts with Austins vibe. Everything there has personality, you can find amazing things from cheeseboards, baby clothes, iluminaidols (they are the best!), Dino planters. If it is special they have it!! Its not a cheap place, but come on! They have a variety of awesomeness that worth every penny! Even if you dont want to shop, this is a good place for visitors. They have their own convenient parking lot.

Best place to find the perfect gift (just thinking of you, birthday or thank you gift, something to bring to house-warming party...or a gift for yourself!). They have a great selection of local items (jewelry, candles, clothing and other cute/interesting/funky little gift items). The staff is super friendly and helpful! As an extra bonus, they usually have cookies and wine while you shop!!

4 stars because the girls that work here are amazing and helpful. The girl with the short blonde cut "the boss" is a mega bish. She treats her employees like garbage. & she treats customers like garbage as well. Hopefully one day Ill walk in and shell be gone for good. Ive heard horror stories about her.

Great place for local stuffs in Austin. After going to numerous gift ships and not being satisfied with their wares came upon this place and was very satisfied. Great service and the products were exactly what my wife and I were looking for. Page the cashier was very friendly and quirky!

Amazing selection of locally produced everything. If youre looking for awesome shirts or unique socks, youll find them. If youre looking for inexpensive and original jewelry, youll find that, too. Even locally made cooking utensils and pet supplies are featured.

Love this place, have been a customer for a few years now and they always have great selection of items specially for women; gifts, cards, personal stuff, you can find it all. It can get pricey but often they have a few sales that make up for it.

Great spot for Austin and Texas themed gifts. Atown has everything from clothing, to coffee mugs, posters, and anything else for friends and family. Highly recommend if looking for gifts in the northern part of town.
