Worst experience Ive had in a lonnnnng time with purchasing fish. I stopped in to see what they had and came across some beautiful cichlids so I bought 8 of them. I knew something wasnt right because 3 of the 8 would have been $50 each at any other store... but at $9/each I could not resist. Long story short... 5 of the 8 died (within and when I went back to the store to notify them of the ones that didnt make it (just like the salesperson told me to do) I was asked for everything but a DNA sample of the ones who didnt live. Sorry but I dont think its very humane to bring a dead fish back into the store and risk a small child seeing or something. Not to mention, its not fair to the fish!! The manager requested the fish, a receipt and a water sample. Im no rookie to the hobby and have excellent water quality in the cichlid tank I have now (125gallon). While the manager was telling me all of the items needed 2 of the employees standing nearby shook their heads and had to walk off. As I left they came over to me and said it was complete BS that he was treating me like that and I should have been taken care of. I hate this didnt work out since I run 4 tanks at home and live 1mile away. You would think the manager would see the value in a customer like me rather than poking his "cause Im the boss and I said so" chest out and doing nothing for me! Such a simple fix lost a great customer... I didnt want the cash... I wanted the fish back. Ive never been treated so poorly at a retail store of any kind.

Happy about their hours - theyre open until 9:00 pm. Had great customer service the other day when I had a newborn kitten emergency. The employee was very knowledgeable and helpful.

Come here at least once or twice a week and have always had great service. I have a couple of cats and they have everything I need. Staff is always great and very helpful.

Friendly staff. They sell healthy pet food. Theres cats, ferrets, bunnies, birds, hamsters, guinea pigs, fish, and hermit crabs.
