Do not trust Diviton Auto Group. The owner, Nash, is a dishonest man who will tell you whatever he thinks you want to hear to string you along while looking for a better deal for himself the entire time. I found a Mazda 3 and drove 25 miles to look at it at his dealership in Arlington. When I arrived, I was told it was getting "scratch" repaired in the shop and would be ready in a day or two. I asked to go see it in the shop since I had come this far already. We went and the "scratch" turned out to be a major scrape all the way down the passenger side affecting the front fender, both doors, and rear quarter panel. I knew then it would take several days to repair but was fine with it and told him I still wanted the car after being repaired. I told him I was a cash buyer that didnt need financing and I didnt haggle over price. He said he would call me when it was ready. I called and texted him every 2-3 days to make sure he knew I was serious about buying the car, but kept getting the same answer ... he would call me when it was ready in a day or two. This continued for 2 weeks and I finally insisted on coming to see it again with my son (who I was buying the car for). We went there on Monday and this time the car was in a different shop getting a different scrape repaired. We test drove it and again I told him we wanted to buy the car. I even asked if I could put down a deposit on the car and Nash told me that wouldnt be necessary -- he would call me when it was ready, probably on Thursday. I tried contacting him on Thursday but got no response. I finally reached him on Friday and he informed me that another salesman had sold the car that morning without his knowing. Needless to say I was livid as we have been searching for the right car for over a month and had been waiting for this particular car for over two weeks and he knew it. Diviton is not a large operation ... Nash, his wife, and one other salesman. Nash is the owner and there is no way he didnt know about the sale. He probably found some sucker that was willing to pay 18% interest and that is how they make the most money. Beware of dishonest business practices by Diviton and the owner, Nash.

I have bought 2 cars from this place over the past year. One for each daughter. Both cars were in great shape and at a fair price(in fact, both cars were priced below Kelly BlueBook and Edmunds by a couple thousand dollars). Mileage was a little over average for the age of the vehicles. The dealership refurbished and detailed the cars to almost new condition. As with ANY used car, I took both to my mechanic and the cars checked out with just a few minor issues. Diviton agreed to fix everything before I bought the cars and agreed to show me the receipts, old parts, and showed the new parts installed. In fact, the salesman, Amarr, drove both vehicles to my mechanic and picked them up, saving me time. They were up front with the pricing, including any extra charges and were willing to negotiate a little off the price. We are more than happy with our experience at Diviton and would not hesitate to look for a car from them if the need arises. This place will really work with you especially if you are making a cash deal. The first car we bought(2011 Nissan Versa) has been flawless for the 1 year we have owned it, but as with any used car, im sure issues will come up over time. The second car(2013 Hyundai Elantra) has been great for the past few months we have had it and we have found no mechanical issues as of yet. Again, we had both cars checked out before buying and had the few minor issues found by our mechanic taken care of free of charge by Diviton before making the purchase. In the words of our mechanic, he said both cars were in "great shape" for used cars. Thanks to Amar( our salesman) for making this a great buying experience!

Like any dealership - be very experienced or bring a trusted experienced person with you. Find a mechanic within 5 miles (thats all theyll allow) to do a pre-buy inspection - do NOT let then take it to Pep Boys. 3 issues were found with the car I got and they said they would be fixed before it would be ready for pick up. They were dishonest and did not make those fixes as I later found out. Damages were reported on the vehicle at auction that were not disclosed to me and were classified by insurance as salvage-tier damage - my insurance skyrocketed. The needed repairs to correct that damage are incredibly expensive. I bought a newer car to avoid the thousands in repairs my old car had, now I only have a newer car with even more repairs needed that they hid or didnt fix as agreed upon. I almost walked away from this car and got a less expensive one with a few more miles on it at another dealer. I very much regret deciding to go with this one. I will be exploring my options of reporting this dealer for their dishonest practices. My suggestion to you is to avoid this dealer so you, too, do not find a surprise of car repairs and insurance problems. Go support another small dealer if thats why you looked them up in the first place, or go to a regular large dealer. If you really must go then please find a good mechanic nearby before you go. Youre going to want someone who will inspect every inch of this car. Get the carfax and see where else you can do research on that VIN as well as the make and model.

WARNING!!! NEVER BUY CARS FROM HERE!! They will come off as very nice friendly people who seems to know a lot about car. But in fact they dont have any knowledge of cars so beware. The facts they put out are made up on the spot. I bought a 2007 Scion tc from Diviton and it broke down in just 1.5 months. They had promised me warranty for one month after purchase. My engine broke down in just 1.5 months from purchase and I had hardly put 1500 miles on it. When I took it back to them they told me I HAVE TO REPLACE THE ENGINE! I mean cmon the engine would cost almost as much as I paid for the car. I dropped the car with them so that they can figure out what is wrong with the car and they could not tell what is wrong with it. All they tell me is you need an engine replacement. If a toyota car breaks down then I dont even know how reliable the other cars they have are gonna be. They are a family a cunning, sweet-talking people who were not even willing to refund me a portion of the cost as compensation for my dilemma. Even 1 star is over rated for this auto group. I repeat.. "THEY DONT HAVE ANY KNOWLEDGE OF CARS SO BEWARE WHEN THEY PRAISE THE VALUE OF THE CAR TO YOU". I was a naive innocent person who believed everything they said and set out to buy my first car. I dont want this to happen to anyone else. NEVER TRUST AMAAR or NASH or LINA!!! Buying a car of the junkyard will be more reliable than these cut throat car dealers.
