A unique experience for Tullahoma. The attentiveness of the staff was ambiguous and the atmosphere difficult to describe. I took a defensive shooting class there which I was initially quite excited about,but was disappointed. The classroom presentation was somewhat disorganized; a fact admitted by instructor who said he had prepared it the night before. The 75$ fee I thought was excessive based on the preparedness both in the classroom and on the range which is small. The owners and staff are particularly concerned about customers damaging their range, a fact they made clear during the class. It appears they cater to the people they know,. I wish them good luck.

First off, the place is very clean and well maintained. All the lights work and the lanes are swept frequently. Theres always been a range master when Ive been there and they actually act like they enjoy their job! Secondly, the staff is knowledgeable without the know-it-all cocky attitude. If you have a question and theyre not 100% sure, theyll get an answer for you. Its just not what Ive found at most indoor ranges. Even better, if youre looking to spend some brass but also out to pick up some coffee, you can do both at the same place. They have their own brand of grounds and theyre dang good.

Had been researching ranges for my wife and I to go and found Templar. Visited early on a Sunday and it was a great experience. Very friendly staff, a family vibe and just nice folks. RSO gave me a safety rundown and let me shoot. As a new shooter this allowed me to focus and just work on fundamentals without someone hovering or correcting my form so I could just enjoy my range time while making sure everyone was safely shooting. Such a great visit, I bought a membership before I left! If you are looking for a great place to shoot, this is it!
