Well, I keep going to this CB because I like the low calorie fish options. And there are few places to get a healthy meal around here. But the staff is hit and miss. Sometimes I get a good waitress/waiter. But usually, they are inattentive... glasses go empty, orders are wrong... waiting for things is ridiculous... checks, refills, boxes, dessert orders... Once they take your order they dont really care about you any more. Recently, after a bariatric surgery, I have been requesting nutritional information... which they are required by LAW to keep. The first time, the manager told me that they didnt have that. I went back two days later and asked again... They brought me a menu (clearly older than 2 days) that had all the nutritional information on it... so the manager was clearly uninformed before. But the waitress was NOT happy to be fetching me menus. She even said so... and pointed out that most ppl who count calories dont go to Cracker Barrel. Insulting? She seemed upset at us for doing her job all through the meal. At one point she said, "I am only here because this store is short staffed and doesnt know what they are doing.... I actually work at the CB on the other side of town." What a GREAT endorsement of this establishment. I have dealt with this manager a couple of times. He does NOT make you feel comfortable when speaking with him. Maybe thats just his way. But he kind of makes me feel like I am being ridiculous and he is patiently waiting for my complaint to be over. The food here is GREAT... and at the end of the day... thats important enough to me to keep coming. But I really hate how inattentive the staff is.

Ok, so my husband and I went in for a late lunch yesterday. We got there around 3pm and it was not busy. We were told it would be 5 minutes and sure enough in just a few minutes they called us. This is where things began to go horribly wrong...We walked over to the waitress, she grabbed a few menus and said "wait, were out of silverware. Youll have to wait till we get some and then well seat you." WHAT?? WHY??? Cant you bring the silverware to us at the table?...NO...instead we are literally standing at the podium thing for 10 minutes waiting for silverware.... We finally get to our table and it takes 15!!!! minutes for someone to come over and take our drink order. No apologies. Nothing. Then when we get our food we are missing half of it and out of what we do get, half of that is cold....They left us with two sides, and took the rest of our food away. Instead of heating it up, they said they remade it (keep in mind we still had some sides at the table so it was either eat them without our meal or let them get cold so we just ate...) I have never gotten such horrible service and when I asked for a manager, our food magically was brought by a manager but he didnt apologize or offer a discount or anything. Didnt even make eye contact with us. It took 20!!! minutes for the rest of our food to get back to the table! And then only after I asked to see a manager. I will never ever go back to this Cracker Barrel again. I work way too hard for my money to get %^&&*$# service.

This cracker barrel has a lazy staff especially in the mornings. We left yesterday at 6:10 after noone realized we were there!!! Why open up if you are not going to serve breakfast!! We drove over 7 miles to get there so we could have a good breakfast. Waffle House was fast and good or Le Peep or a bagel cafe. We also waited 2 weeks ago for 20 min while our waitress talked to a couple and our food was getting cold in the back. We waited early that morn (only a few in the place) for almost 25 min to ever get our food.Then they only put like a tablespoon of hashbrowns on my husbands plate and he asked for more! We tried one more time and that was yesterday Aug 08. We got up and left since noone came over to wait on us after over 10 min. 2 women were walking around but never never spoke to us. My husband left his hat in the store and went back to get it. With only 4-5 customers in there , the girl said ,Oh just seat yourself, like she had never seen us! We had JUST walked out saying, we will never be back since noone can see us!! Lazy people and where is the manager??

We just cant brag enough about this Cracker Barrel. Waitress was very nice. But the cashier went above and beyond. I saw these cool sugar skull bags and she made sure I had found exactly what I wanted. Thanks to her, we even bought this really cool broom for Halloween! Course it will be an everyday decoration! I do have a not so nice side note... There was a lady manager at the front counter on the phone with a customer. She made zero effort to make sure others werent standing right there while speaking. But she was so nasty to them! True... Not fair to see just one side of a story... But if you are a manager just answering a call... Being super snotty that you are the manager makes one wonder how you were chose to fill that position! I promise I saw another that should have that job instead. Customer service isnt what it used to be...

Ive been going here twice a week for years with a group of old people. At first it was okay, nice southern cooking and everything. However, over time this location has gradually become worse and worse. The biscuits are hard as rocks, the food is never prepared up to standard, and the orders come out wrong more often than not. They also seem to perpetually have nothing but new servers in training now, as if no one can stand to keep working there anymore. As a result, the service is very much sub par, the waitresses cant seem to keep anything straight, and there are unbearably long wait times every step of the way. Its gotten to the point that the old people in my group that practically live there have even started wanting to look for another place to have their meetings.

Went to CB today with my family (5 of us). We never saw our waitress after food was brought out. Most of the food was to go. No boxes. No re-fills. And we couldnt flag her down after 5-6 attempts. We couldnt flag down anyone else either. Our waitress brought the bill with the food... who does that? We were going to order dessert as a reward to the kids for something they had done. AND I told her I had forgotten one of the to go orders. But she never came back. Finally we had no choice but to leave. I paid over $50 for a meal that largely didnt get eaten because we had no boxes. As far as I am concerned they just stole my money.

I have to say that the food is not bad for a large corporation, the redhead girl server is VERY sweet and nice, but the girl manager of the place has a *major* attitude problem, she should be fired or try her hand at being server. We politely tried to get her attention while she was lighting candles to light ours and after about 3 times of her ignoring us she replied with a flat and bitchy "WHAT". After we announced the request she never said a word and took another full minute to finish the other candles THEN came over to us. She also reeks of smoke. She never smiled, only frowned.
