The food never disappoints, which is why we stop no matter which state we find ourselves traveling through. However, this afternoon in the retail shop, we were sorely disappointed to the point that we felt we needed to write this review. My wife found a scarf she wished to purchase for a gift, the only one of its type, and of course, without its price tag. The cashier asked a clerk to find a sku number for it and rather unwillingly she went to the back room. Several minutes later she returned saying she couldnt find anything for it, she was sorry. My wife asked if a manager could assign a price and let her purchase it and the clerk told her no, "its not the way we do things". Unbelievable that a retail establishment is telling a customer they will not sell her an item on the sales floor. My wife asked if she could purchase the item on line and was told by the clerk that the system is really hard to get around if you dont have an item number or description. My wife got on line, found the collection and had it ordered in less than 5 minutes. So whats the gripe? This clerk was lazy and incompetent and there are far too many people out of work to put up with this sort of job performance. And, due to shipping costs the scarf is 50% more than the one in the store. Not happy.

My wife and stopped in on a Saturday morning around 10:30am. As always, they were very busy and we had around a 40 minute wait. We were offered menus to look at while we waited. At first I thought this was a little odd. It occurred to me later that this was done to try and speed things up when we were seated. The waitress immediately asked if we were ready to order after taking our drink order knowing we had just sat down. Coffee at the Cracker Barrel is the best. This visit was no exception. The coffee was excellent. Our food was cooked right and served quickly. Hot foods were hot. Cold foods were cold. Everything tasted as good as expected. The atmosphere in the restaurant was a little rushed. Everything seemed to be moving at a rushed pace. The was apparent by our table needing to be wiped again by our server, a fork under the table, and some dirty silverware in addition to what I noted earlier about the menus. It was as if the staff wasnt taking the time to do things well.

I ordered Cracker Barrel to go yesterday 28 March 2017 . I ordered the Cracker Barrel sampler dinner. I havent been in awhile , so I was thinking I could get a home cooked meal that was good. I hadnt had any problems in the past so I was confident my meal would be delicious . Um nope not at all ..... my potatoes I ordered with brown gravy were hard on the edges , my chicken dumplings were not any better and my meatloaf , corn looked as though it had been sitting around for more than it was suppose too. I also ordered sweet tea... in which it was not. The cashier, the young man who took my order and the two young ladies (hostess) who were sitting people were very nice. Needless to say my food and beverage were not. I will not go back for awhile for another take out order... or the next time I will check it before I leave the store. Money wasted

Ive eaten here twice now and both times couldnt be any more memorable then the moment it took me to get my egg mcmuffin from the golden arches a while back... (I wish I could provide you with the date but like I said, it wasnt that memorable.) Pros : 20% Military Discount which I was able to use and slide my winnings directly over to the large waitresses tip jug. Cons : There was a lot of patrons that resembled the large waitress who fumbled my coffee and forgot my milk. (I say this not in any way to be cruel but rather to give an honest review of a restaurant Ive been to twice.) The well proportioned folk of an age slightly older then me have a way about them to be selfish, rude and completely oblivious to the people who walk around them.

I just got out of the hospital today and I was feeling kinda not sad and a little down my sister took me to Cracker Barrel on the way home from the hospital all I wanted was a grilled cheese and bacon sandwich and maybe a few mashed potatoes I dont think thats on the menu in that order but the lady made it for me anyway and made me feel not only cared for but comforted with the comfort food that makes me happy it was a great visit she was a great waitress her name was Caroline and I was at the Clarksville Cracker Barrel out by Exit 4 so thank you Carolyn for making an old tired mama feel comforted and loved because of a grilled cheese and bacon sandwich much respect Victoria

We were driving home from vacation and stopped here to give us a break from driving. The reason for the low star rating was the service...it was just bad. When asking for things like refills, we had to ask multiple times to get them. We saw another table had their waitress disappear for about 20 minutes. They had to ask another waiter to go find her. My daughter spilled her soda and nobody wanted to help clean it up. I finally asked for a manager who brought some small towels with him and he used that. I am guessing this store does not own a mop??

Cracker Barrel is a great place to stop at any time of day. Service at this store is efficient and friendly. It is a treat to stop by for something that I wouldnt cook often at home - comfort food and maybe some cobbler with ice cream. The restaurant is busy and accommodates everyone from babies in carriers to those in wheelchairs. Noise level is often high. Planning your visit before or after usual meal times helps. Also offered are complete dinners to go for a family gathering or holidays.

I love this place and just recently learned to love it more when I found out how fast they are with the take out section. They have a trout that I can get without the lemon pepper that will melt in your mouth. The biscuits are also awesome. The staff are great. Well worth the wait for the window shopping although I have yet to not make a purchase in their store lol. Great atmosphere.

It was a fairly great experience. Our waitress was very nice and made sure our order was correct. Also the staff was very considerate when ever a glass fell and broke spilling soda all over me and my fiance, but they made sure we were okay and safe. Even helped us clean and dry the soda off of us. Overall you could say we had a very refreshing experience.
