Yesterday I had a rough time with some online pick up in store orders. Firstly when I called when the orders were ready for pick up I had to wait on the telephone for one hour in order to speak with someone to get two bicycles assembled. When I came to the store a few days later to pick up the bicycles they still were not assembled. I wasnt troubled by this fact I understand that its Christmas time and some miscommunication may have went on so I agreed to come back the next day and pick them up this is when the trouble started. When I tried to pick them up one of the orders seem to have been cancelled due to being in the store over a certain amount of days. This was an out of state order that my dad purchased for Christmas gifts for my children so I was not the direct purchaser and I needed to figure out how to get the bikes repaid for. The first team member who assisted me I believe her name is Victoria was very unhelpful her whole mannerism was dry and unhelpful she proceeded to tell me that I had to reorder and it could take up to a couple of days me being a shopper online a lot I know that you can order online and pick up in store within a couple of hours as long as the item is in stock. So it baffled me that she was telling me this and the item that I needed was right there in front of me she proceeded to tell me other things which would not help the situation right then and there not a bit of help was she. Then the store manager I believe his name was Joe came in and saved the day he was pleasant, friendly, smiling and he worked very hard to resolve my situation on his end as my dad called customer service to reorder he even offered me a chair as I waited for the confirmation. Once he got confirmation on his end he said I was good to go and he even carried the bicycles to my car and put them in which took some configuring which she didnt have to do but I appreciate him going out of his way to make sure that I was a happy customer thats what customer service is all about. I wanted to make sure that I acknowledge and leave a quick note about him because hes doing a great job and also about victoria because she could use some customer service training and a smile I know that retail is hard especially during the holidays I have worked it but unhappy faces and attitudes never help the situation. Knowing the holiday shipping procedures for a hot ticket item and their lack of availability is not why I am upset. I am upset because we were ( and many others ) lied to. Whether we were lied to in accident or it was a twisted marketing ploy I dont know ( I cant get any response from anyone at Toys R Us ). We know they are a limited item and it isnt certain when theyre available. We called last night, we were instructed to get in line at 6am for presale tickets, they open at 8am. We arrived, with our baby, at 5:50 am and were immediately told the tickets were already gone and were given away at 530 to people who were there all night. Wait until 6 like you were supposed to. Out of respect for a business, I dont need to stand outside unless it is suggested by your business. You tell me 6, I show before 6, you have already given them out. Why did I come in the first place. Its very dissatisfying to know this business in this town is taking advantage of folks during the holidays for reasons unbeknownst to me. I am also complaining for the dozens of other people in the same circumstances. I might not have even gotten one. My issue is I was tricked into thinking I had a chance when I never did. Todays trip was very frustrating and unnecessary.

My husband and I went to Toys R Us today to buy a Pack N Play. We had grins on our faces as this is our first child and were so excited to make that purchase. Unfortunately, the Pack N Play we wanted was out of stock and two different sales associates literally just walked away when we were asking them questions. There were no offers to assist us on how to order online or to assist us with possibly finding another alternative. Needless to say, I will take my business elsewhere. There are many places to purchase these products and I certainly wont pay for poor customer service.

Overall, over priced furniture and decent priced everything else. Widest selection of baby goods like detergent, soap, diapers, and wipes. Ive never checked out at a register but only the customer service desk. Also, if youre going in for registry items... to create or update... just go ahead and let the ppl up front know bc there isnt ever someone at the drsk or surrounding area. They are always super nice and friends. Nothing is so baf tjat i wont be back, i just wont buy the outrageously priced baby furniture.

No one greeted me. There were 3 girls huddled around with their backs to me at the customer service desk just talking. The guy in electronics didnt even look at me. The two girls in the baby department sitting on their asses talking not doing anything. Terrible attitudes when I did approach the customer service counter like I did a bad thing by disturbing them. Sorry Toys R Us, but I hope you have K-Marts fate.

I returned a toy because I founded out that Walmart had the same toy for $10 less so I went to returned and they asked for my ID and I asked for cash back they said only do card back I will never but there again I will go to walmart, online or Amazon

I dont visit this store often but Ive never had a negative experience at this location. The staff seem like they enjoy working here and are helpful. Store is clean and well organized. On a recent busy holiday weekend checkout was very quick.

Waited 15 minutes in electronics to buy a video game. Had to go to a cashier to ask them to send someone to help me and I waited for 15 minutes before I left. If they dont want my business, Ill go elsewhere. The store was not busy at all.

I dread having to go into Toys "R" Us. They have the worst customer service and they have no sense of urgency. Even doing a online order that you have to pick up, takes forever to find someone and grab it! Awful awful

the last commentor hit it right on the head. my phones call timer came in at 5:04 with no answer when i hung up. either their phone isnt working or they dont care about it. they lost a large sale from me tonight.

I love this store! I have never had any issues even when it came to my online purchases. It was there waiting for me at customer service and everyone I have come across has been very friendly.

Good selection. Clean store. Friendly employees! Great for the kids. Hardest part was prying the kids away from the display toys.
