The Babies "R" Us store located in Clarksville, TN needs some help with customer service. We recently had two experiences with the store and their employees. The first was about two weeks ago when we wanted to buy a high chair for one of our grand kids. We selected a chair and took it to the cashiers station where none were open but the customer service line was and was serving as a checkout counter. The cashier was working with another customer, so it was understandable that we had to wait. But as the line backed up behind us and time dragged on, no employee at the store took the initiative to open another register. We waited 5 minutes with 5 other customers in line behind us and watched as two other employees (one presumably a manager) walked out and spoke with the one cashier behind the customer service counter, but neither paid any attention to us standing in line. We waited a few more minutes with still no one coming to open another cash register, so we decided to just leave. Afterward, we ordered a high chair online from Walmart and got exactly what we wanted for half the price. The second incident was yesterday. My wife and daughter in law visited the Clarksville store to buy a stroller. They needed an employee to assist them so the daughter in law approached a counter where an employee was working with another customer. The employee was doing something on the computer and the customer was playing with her cell phone. With no interaction occurring between the two, my daughter in law asked the employee to call for someone else who could assist her. He looked my daughter in law directly in the eye then looked away without saying a word. Talk about rude! So my daughter in law sought out another employee who referred her back to the same guy who had justly rudely ignored her. She explained to the second employee how she was just treated by the guy and asked that someone else help her, and they did find a nice young man who did his job respectfully. Two strikes Babies "R" Us, one more and we will take all of our business elsewhere.

I will never go back. They refused to honor the price match guarantee because its during the holidays. I found several things that are overpriced here: lego set 69.99 here and found it across the street at target for 48.99 full retail price. Play doh set 21.99 here but 13.99 full price at target. When I told the manager she completely ignored what I was saying, and she kept saying they wouldnt honor it-- even though a store employee had already told me they would match it today. My advice is to google whatever youre buying online and cross reference it bc this place will RIP you OFF. Whats really sad is that the cashier agreed with me and said she was new and started to notice that they had markups on everything.

Events are not organized at all they say one thing then they do another they say if you Ave a coupon you go first then they just let the kids grab w e and the ones who are going by the rules and what was said they need to start doing what they say gonna check out other babys r us events driving 45 minutes to this one for them to be this way is crazy

Ive fallen in love with this place. Its great to get all of my sons things from. The return desk is super nice and quick. And management is attentive. The playset I wanted was no longer in stock. Since it was discontinued for the newer model, the manger at the time sold us the display at a reduced price. I will be forever thankful.

The people who work here are wonderful especially Joe and Steve! I come most every day so I know! They only downfall with the location is that they often dont have what Im looking for in stock, but every once in a while I get lucky ! And I really enjoy just browsing, atmosphere is relaxing and friendly and very helpful :)
