I use to work for Home Depot in Atlanta at level that allowed me to see a lot of what was going on behind the scenes. I no longer worked there for personal reason; I am just not corporate material. BUT, Home Depot, you have my apologies. No, you have my understanding. You just have it together. You are my Hampton Inn (can I say that?). You are consistent, helpful when you can be, and have me as a customer for life. I am a contractor. Your efficiency saves me money: BOTTOM LINE! Here is a review I wrote about the Lowes in McMinnville TN: So tired of, "they are real nice people." Thats nice, leave it at home and do your job if you cant do both. Not going to go into specifics due the fact that my case is still under review, but do not bother calling the ASM"S, (assistant store manager) or even the main store manager, (Casey Allen). No joke, 4, seriously 4, ASMs absolutely never did a single, not even a whisper, follow up inquiry into my situation. One person did actually try to help and made a follow up call to me. The funny thing is that he has nothing to do management. Not going to say his name, but am sending it corporate. If you are reading this, you know who you are. On a weird note, I worked corporate Home Depot in ATL. I got mad at them and left, because i am just not corporate material. Can not believe that I am saying this, but in all my years at Home Depot, I have never seen, what I can only explain as deliberate, such simple plain obvious incompetence. It is so bad that I am having the rest of my materials (commercial construction) freighted into the area. The spellings may not be correct: Store manager: Casey Allen ASMs: Chris Miller, Erin, Jason, and Michael. (at least what I am told) Hope my tone has not made me incredulous, but am seriously just astounded. My apologies Home Depot, you really do have it together. Ps. Stay away from the N. Peters location in Knoxville too. Harriman, TN, was actually really cool and efficient! I only went to them, because they are fifteen minutes from me and not just over an hour away like you. Now I will either shop with you or the store in Knoxville. This is huge pain, but worth it. Have you ever seen the movie Idiocracy? Have you ever been to Lowes?

I live over 20 minutes away from this Home Depot; however when i checked online this was the closest store that had a particular riding lawn mower I was interested in. Before I drove over to the store I called to make sure that the lawn mower was indeed in-stock and the employee told me that they had one left, I then explained to the employee that i would be driving a substantial distance and that i would like for him to verify that it was indeed in-stock which he assured me that one was. When i arrived I could not find the lawn mower i was interested in when i asked an employee they told me that their computers said that one was in-stock and that it was probably in the back, however after some searching they informed me that it was a computer error. Even tho i had asked the employee to verify that it was in-stock he never did and i ended up wasting both my time and gas. The fact that these box home improvement stores, and this one in particular, have employees that are un-knowledgeable and un-helpfully makes me suggest you take your business to a local store or online. Update: after the manager heard what had happened he gave me his cell phone number and apologized in person about what happened, he also made sure that the next time i stopped by i could see the lawn mower i was interested in.

This is a great store in the sense they almost always have what I need in stock. I shop here almost daily and I can say that there only 2 employees that ask if you need help finding anything. Theres quite a few things they dont carry that you absolutely need to build a house. So sometimes I have no choice but to go to lowes. For instance they dont carry a rubberish moisture barrier, or metal shims for crawl space pillars which is required per county inspectors. At 1 point and time there were only 2 people that knew how to look up my company account to purchase the things I needed so needless to say I had to wait over 45 mins just to check out. As long as Phil is working the register I will continue to shop here.

The only good experience I have had in this store s in the paint dept. My husband and I went in there today to buy a new stove and to buy flooring for our kitchen. We could find no one to help us in the flooring department and we could find no one to help us in the appliance department. I finally went over to one of the workers that was helping somebody else and was told we would have somebody over there in appliances in a couple of minutes 20 minutes later my husband and I left the store all of my purchases will be made at Lowes . Every time you go into the store you cannot find anybody to help you . Worst experience ever .

No customer service, a bunch of kids with apps on there phone setting behind a desk. Where is this item found , replied isle 39 and returned to his conversation with a co-worker. I had questions but didnt even bother, I dont think anyone there has ever used a hammer and nail

Found everything I need, and the folks here are very friendly and helpful. The staff does a good job. I shop here on a regular basis, and Ive never had an issue with customer service. The prices are always competitive.

Best home Depot in 400 miles. Jim, Larry, Myron just to name a few are extremely helpful. Bought appliances had floors installed all here. Wouldnt go anywhere else unless the absolutely had to go.
