Careless maintenance technicians, and rude management / service advisors. I purchased my new GMC truck here in March of 2016. The initial sale process went smoothly, and the Billy, my salesperson, could not have been nicer during the process. When I brought my truck in for its first oil change in May, I got it back from the shop with oil stains on the headliner. According to the shop manager, the technician that changed my oil was wearing an oily/dirty ball cap that made contact with my headliner in several places. Jocelyn, a maintenance coordinator, had the detailing department clean up my headliner. Most of the grease spots were removed, but there were still spots left on my headliner. I brought the truck back in today to have the spots worked on again, particularly one bad spot of discoloration, directly over the driver’s seat. This is where the technicians ball cap made the most contact with the headliner. After attempting to clean the spot a second time, the grease had been completely worked in to the headliner. When I pointed this out to the maintenance team, they conveniently “couldn’t see” the spot. My salesperson, Billy, agreed that he could see the grease spot until the dealership manager, Lawrence, came to take a look himself. At that point, Billy changed his mind and decided that he could no longer see the grease spot. They essentially told me that they would do nothing more about the problem that they caused. I would not recommend purchasing or maintaining your vehicle at this dealership. Not only are their technicians careless with their filthy hands and clothing, their management and service advisors are entirely rude, and shady in their dealings. My entire experience with this dealer was a scam – buyer beware.

This is the 2nd vehicle I have purchased from Darrel Waltrip. Both times I was greated by very knowledgable salemen. I never felt pressured into buying something that didnt meet my expectations/need. They are very kind and courteous throughout the entire process..I had some very clear needs that I was looking for in a new/used car and they did everything possible to get me what I needed and what I wanted. The whole buying experience was terrific. I was referred here from a friend and I would definaltly refer my friends to Darrel Waltrip!! Thanks again for another superb buying experience!!! The saleman that we dealt with this time was Jacob Stovie. He was honest, trustworthy and very helpful right from the beginning. He worked with us to make sure we got what we were looking for. I feel he went above and beyond to make this experience a pleasurable one. I told him what I was looking for and he did the rest!!! Best salemen I have dealt with in a long time. He will definatly be my "go to guy" when it comes to my vehicle. Ill recommend him to all my friends and family if/when they are in need of purchasing a vehicle.... GREAT JOB JAKE!!!!!!!! THANK YOU !!!! :) When the time came for us to sign all the paperwork, we worked with Natalie and she did an excellent job of making sure we understood everything, answered all of our questions and added to what was already a great buying experience!! Thank you Natalie for your patience and time with us :)

This place is a joke for car sales standards of 2016. I have many years in car sales and have purchased cars for myself and many others. I would steer completely clear of this place. If you like the old car sales tactics of the 80s and 90s go for it. Lame old school car sales lines tried to give a bench interest rates loan to someone with a nearly perfect credit. Was sold a car that was undeliverable for starters. Once the deal was done, was never greeted by a manager thanking us for a business. A very common practice in todays car selling society. Got us to drive 45 minutes on a traffic loaded afternoon to supposedly purchase the same car just had PDI done that they transferred from another dealer. It had a different color interior. Was put in a loaner for weeks waiting on a vehicle recall. Was called twice and asked if we could come by and switch the loaner out not to put to many miles on it. Finally the correct vehicle was delivered to our place of business. Good faith move by Nico the only person that seems to get things around there. Considering our original purchase was conducted by the GM of the dealership. Got the registration in the mail but guess what they lost the tag of the trade in car and wants us to go spend hours in the DMV to claim it as lost and get a new one. But I am supposed to happy that they will reimburse me for my new tag. I was a satisfied client of the Subaru side and now will never purchase another auto from this franchise.

We just bought our second car from Darrell Waltrip GMC. In December of 2015 we bought my wife a 16 Acadia Denali. We didnt have this particular car in mind, but after shopping at other dealerships, and either being ignored, rushed, or pressured into a decision, we walked into DW GMC and was surprised how different the atmosphere was. We laughed and joked the entire time. We test drove the SLT-1 but found a new delivery of Denalis in the back. Calvin even let us take one home for the weekend to test it out with our new baby. Needless to say, we brought it back that Monday after work and bought it. So, this February, when we decided I needed a truck, there was no doubt where we were going to go. I didnt even shop around. I called and made an appointment to look at and drive a 17 Sierra SLT. We negotiated the price over the phone, so everything was ready to go when we got there. BJ was the absolute best. Very knowledgable, and was telling us about his familys long history working for GM. We went in expecting the same experience as before and we got it! Nico, the sales manager, even came over to comment on how big our daughter had gotten since the last time we were in. There was never a frustrating moment, never a moment of being pressured. The atmosphere is fun, relaxed and it always felt like the deal was on our terms. Were set on cars for a little while, but I will recommend them to anyone looking for a car. Without hesitation! Thank you BJ!

This is a (re)review. The issues I had with the dealer have been made right and I cant be more thankful to Chris ONeal and Gene Curtis. These two gentlemen have gone above and beyond to make sure I am a satisfied customer. I cant give the dealership five starts just because of the experience as a whole, but I do give these two guys five starts for their help. If one buys from this dealer in the future, please make sure these are the guys you talk to. Below is my initial post. Im glad this dealer real does care about their reviews and takes times to fix any issues any of their customers have. As a whole, I will never recommend this dealership because of issues Im having with the sales department. On the other hand, the service department has done one repair to my Lacrosse and that seems to be fine. The service department associates were kind and got my car through the repair quickly. As mentioned before, the dealership has some issues that must be worked out in order to be successful. HONESTY is a great place to start. I hate to give the service center only one star, but it only take one person to ruin it for everyone. Im hoping they fix the issue and correct their mistakes so that I can finally be at peace with my purchase and maybe give a better review in the future.
