I went to this Ingles in Elizabethton TN today to buy a few things, I have a cabin nearby that I visit about a dozen times a year so I dont shop there often, anyway I went to pay and they asked for my Ingles card, I dont have one, told the guy I didnt want one, I have too many of these things to keep up with, he said he would get me a new one, but then I had to fill it out, the heck with that, I went to the manager and he said his hands were tied so I walked out and the main thing I am complaining about is he let me. Its a well built store, nice inside, so they go to all this trouble just to be able to sell people things and they dont give the Manager the power to make someone happy in a situation like this, weak management style, I will never shop at any Ingles again because of this, I went down the street to food city where I aslo dont have a card and they simply typed in an over ride code, simple and they will get my business, whoever came up with this at Ingles should be fired

Friendly employees, a very clean store, and a varied assortment of harder to find items than other grocery stores in the area. Prices are a bit higher here, but you do save substantially if you use their (free) Ingles card. Store brand items are good, which is another way to save on your final bill. Ingles also has a fully stocked salad bar, and a deli that has a great lunch special for $5.00. This is great when you want a healthier option while on a lunch break. The fact that the store is clean, and not packed with wall to wall customers, makes shopping here a real pleasure. I recommend them highly.

Nice grocery store. If you forget your ingles card the have to write your number on a piece of paper then take it to the manager and get your card info and enter it manually. This is a pain, its 2017 why? Other than that they have a large selection and good meats to choose from. A little pricey compared to other places though.

Food in the deli is always fresh & tastes great. Special occasion cakes for birthdays & such made to order are the best in our area as far as grocery chains go. Customer service is outstanding. Store is always clean. This is my favorite grocery store in our area.

The produce is always fresh and delicious. I dont know where they get their food items from but they are wonderful. I can tell the difference in texture as well as taste when compared to a Wal-Mart item. Ingles is just a 1000 times better.

Poor service in general. Prices are high, but it is the impolite staff that blows my mind. I can only assume the management doesnt care. I will find an alternative if I have to go to Johnson City.

They will literally walk with you and show you where an item is if you ask for help. Ive seen employees help wheelchair bound customers shop. Theyre friendly and stand behind their products.
