This is very disappointing, you go to the dealership knowing you are going to pay a higher price but expect a higher level of service. I brought my vehicle in for an oil change and tire rotation plus check engine light. Part of their oil change is a free multi-point inspection report. When I picked up my vehicle, yesterday, I did not receive a copy of the inspection report. This morning I noticed an oil like substance on my black tar driveway. After checking the fluids I noticed there was no coolant in the overflow, so I checked the radiator and couldnt see any fluid in it. Thus, I called the dealership to see if they just forgot to attach my copy of the inspection report and to see what the report stated if anything about topping off my coolant. I spoke to someone in their service department and was told the mechanic did not fill out the form. When I inquired as to why. I was told that since I declined the service engine work the mechanic felt there was no need to go any further. I asked the service advisor if that was standard protocol and he responded with you have an aged vehicle and we didnt want to nitpick it apart. I was flabbergasted, I couldnt believe I was being told my vehicle was not worth being inspected because of its age and the fact I declined some work. Makes me wonder if they did something to my vehicle to cause the coolant leak I now have, which it didnt have when I bought it in. I dont believe in coincidences. I worked as a service advisor for 10 years and never experienced anything like this with a customer vehicle I was responsible for. In addition, in my 10 years of automotive service I never told a customer their vehicle wasnt worth an inspection. The advisor on the phone this morning didnt offer up a single apology but rather blamed me for declining work and having an aged vehicle. My vehicle is a 99 Suburban with 190k miles. I guess I shouldnt expect this vehicle to last much longer as per the service advisor. Needless to say, I wont go back to Carlen Chevrolet. The sad thing is because of my experience as a service advisor at a delearship, I am a huge proponent of the delearship and factory service, so I drove 30+ miles to bring my vehicle there passing up many qualified aftermarket service shops. This was my first and last experience with Carlen Chevrolet. Customers be ware.

I was looking for a Chevrolet traverse, when I came across a new trade in on Carlens website. It was still being serviced, and I was texting DAILY with Internet Sales rep jj stewart (because I live an hour away). He would only send me one picture (from Wednesday-Saturday), on Friday he told me they were waiting on a part to fix the ac and he wouldnt have a price until Monday or Tuesday. On Saturday he asked if we were coming by to see it. I told him we would be in town and try to come by. We did, and looked it over on our own. I text him upon leaving the lot, again asking him to let me know a price. He later texts me and says it SOLD! After telling me it would be 2-3 more days before he even knew a price. Sure seems like shady business to me. Needless to say, I will not do business with this dealership.

I would not recommend going here for a used vehicle. The salesmen was really nice and helpful while viewing the vehicle. I offered 3k OVER NADA retail for their vehicle which is expected at a dealership. I have a 2012 Dodge Ram crew cab 4 wheel, excellent condition, wheels/tires, etc.. I was interested in trading. The lowest trade-in value on my truck in the most awful condition with basics is $16,250. The guy at Carlen came back and said we will offer you a $11,000 for your trade. In my opinion, thats rude and unprofessional. Save yourself the time AND find a dealership that wants to do business and sell cars.

My daughter is a TTU student and I live all the way in Jacksonville, FL. When her car wouldnt start we both panicked, but I told her to have the car towed to this dealership. I spoke to Mike in the service department and he was so nice and promised to take care of her. It was the battery and they got her taken care of minutes before closing! He was even nice enough to call me back and allowed me to pay with my card over the phone. Im so happy that there is a local dealership that can keep my daughter safe and on the road when I live so far away.

I took my 2017 silverado truck in twice for vibration issues between 70-80. The dealer failed to resolve the issue. One of the service guys told me if Im in west Texas feel free to drop your truck off at a dealership. GM corporate called me for a follow up and said the dealer recommended i drive the posted speed limit to address my vibration concerns. What does the dealership suggest when Im on roads with speed limits higher than 70? Completely ridiculous and disrespectful service department

I sent my car to service on a Thursday and they said they fixed everything. On the second day, the reverse light is not working and a problem on the engine popped up, sent it back to service on Monday and they charged me another $100 to check it. Furthermore, they quoted me $330 to change my brake but when I took it somewhere else they only charge me $120, $200 cheaper!!! Will definitely not go back again.
