I recently chose this florist, based on the reviews that were listed, to send a sympathy floral arrangement to my sister and brother in law. I should have looked closer, the reviews were from years ago. Sadly, things have drastically changed. The lovely basket I ordered from their online catalog arrived looking nothing like what was pictured. They have an option to check if you will accept substitutions and wanting the arrangement to look just like the picture I unchecked the box. What arrived was nothing like I expected and I never received a phone call asking about substitutions. After 3 phone calls to them I finally spoke with a "manager". We arranged for a substitution which arrived almost a week after the original order was place and was still unacceptable. How do red plants and bow equal white plant, ivy, curly willow and a birds nest? My sister took the basket back and asked them to refund my account. Today I checked on the refund, it was $7.00 short. When I called and spoke with the "manager" (he never identifies himself on the phone with a name) he told me that "he couldnt satisfy me or my sister even if he had delivered banana pudding" and that the $7.00 charge was the delivery charge and no way would he be refunding that. What? Seriously, you must be kidding! This guy has no concept of customer service. Thankfully I did get the exact arrangement that I had originally wanted from Wesley Berry Flowers and they were delivered the same day. I do not live in the Bristol area and will consequently never use this florist but if you are thinking about flowers I would think twice about using Pippin for anything. Natalie

Terrible People to work with.... DO NOT ORDER FLOWERS FROM HERE if you want them to be exactly like the picture, because guess what, they will send you whatever they have in stock, so you pay for the the flowers in the picture, but get substantially lower quality flowers. I called them after they sent my Mother the wrong flowers for Mothers Day. There was NO APOLOGY, the guy was rude, and said he would pick up the flowers and replace them with new ones. What a jerk. These people should not run floral shops if they cant look at a picture and deliver the right flowers. The delivery guy came and TOOK the flowers from my mother, but never gave her the new ones saying "i need these to make the other assortment" then left with finally apolagizing with "sorry, mistakes happen you know?" That is rude. When the flowers arrived that was supposed to be originally delivered, they looked like crap and barely what the picture looked like. My mother then returned the flowers later to try and get them fixed and the florist refused, and she then said "well, it looks nothing like the picture" the florist then said "Your not gonna get it to look like the picture... ITS MOTHERSDAY!!". In my thinking, if its mothers day, it should look especially good on that day, not like a pile of crap. The guy was also very rude with my mother... DO NOT COME HERE!!! Im not one for complaining much, but this is going to the Better Business Bureau.

TERRIBLE SERVICE! I was told that my flowers would be delivered before 3pm, before my mother-in-law left work -- I got a call at 3:15 asking where to deliver the flowers which I then had to send them to her house which is not what I wanted. I called the manager to express my concern and was greeted with one of the rudest men (Thomas) I have ever talked to. He was sarcastic, asking inappropriate questions regarding my mother-in-laws age, where I worked and what kind of people I deal with everyday and only offered a very hateful apology. He kept saying they were busy and covered up and he wouldnt offer any type of discount because he had product and people to pay for and if I could do any better to come down there and try to run the place myself. I have never experienced such rude and terrible customer service. My intentions were not to get a discount, but to just express my concern about being told that my flowers would be delivered before a certain time and they werent. I will never use Pippin again and advise everyone else to stay far away from them. Try Mistys or the Food City floral department.

my family recently sent me a plant from pippin due to the death of my father-in-law. they checked the pippin website and chose a lovely grape vine wreath basket with ivy and a small bird nest. When the plant was delivered it was a bird nest fern that was not pretty with plant with red flowers and a huge red bow. this is spring time and a sympathy delivery..red? upon my sending a picture over the phone to my family they were not pleased as this was not close to what was ordered. Pippin was not helpful or eager to remedy the situation..they came back for the plant saying they would fix it...all they did was replace the ugly fern with an ivy, same red bow and ugly basket. i took it back myself so my family could get their money back and the man at the store was neither sorry or nice. i will never use pippin again and i will advise all my friends to avoid them. be careful when you order by phone or online. they will send what they want without consideration for your order. very disappointing.

My Fiancee ordered flowers for her mother for this past Mothers Day. Got order confirmation that they would be delivered the 9th (Saturday). Were not delivered by 7:00, so she called and spoke to the owner(Thomas), who said that he couldnt deliver until Monday, but PROMISED a double order and not to charge her. Monday 4:30 PM...still no flowers. I called and spoke to Thomas who simply stated that he forgot about Jury duty and he couldnt deliver until Tuesday, BUT never said he wouldnt charge!!! Told me that he and wife worked over 90 hours last week(seems like that would be a good problem?!)We live out of state now and she HAD done business with Pippin for many years. Sounds like based on the reviews Im reading that it is time for Thomas to retire and sell his "so called" business. WE ARE THE CUSTOMERS! YOU work for and BECAUSE of us!! Figure it out or close the doors!

STAY AWAY from this place! I ordered a $60 funeral basket of flowers for my grandmothers service. The picture posted on their site did not come close to what they sent. My father, who is not a flower expert, was appalled. When I called Pippin to inquire about this they told me he would have to bring the basket back to them. He did. My brother also sent a picture of said flower arrangement to me via cellphone. Again- shoddy cheap work. When talking to Pippin, the manager tells me that he will refund none of the money for this arrangement. He has staff to pay and inventory to buy and will NOT refund any bit of the price of this arrangement. Terrible business this florist conducts when I trusted the picture on his website. Shame on them. Do not do business with this place. I will post pictures of what was sent versus the picture on their website
