Overall, the experience was okay. Our sales person worked with us to get us a respectable deal on the furniture we wanted. Havertys furniture is usually good quality but we had multiple issues with a few pieces. The kids furniture looks great and was exactly what we were looking for. However, the knobs to the drawers keep coming off. The technician said it was unfortunately soft wood and the parts they used in manufacturing wont hold. He recommended I go to home depot to buy a certain type of screw to hold better. We had a hutch delivered many times over where it got to the point that the delivery guys knew to come get me before unloading it from the truck. They would even look at it and know that I wouldnt accept it. Customer Service said they would have a manager inspect the pieces before they left the factory. That obviously wasnt done as the problems were with really poor staining and other manufacturer defects. I wasted many days waiting for the part and delt with involuntary reschedules. I also ordered a small table that had a manufacturer defect. Be aware that pickup also means assembly. I had to wait for them to ship the new part in order to have the table. Service techs appeared knowledgeable and were friendly. All of the other pieces have held up over the past couple of years.

My husband and I purchased a custom sectional from Havertys. We received fairly good customer service from the Brentwood, TN store staff. However, the delivery has been a complete disaster. The sectional was scheduled to be delivered on Wednesday, July 5th. We were told we would get a call when the truck was 30-45 minutes away. But, we did not get a call. When they showed up they only had one portion of our sectional. The delivery crew seemed unsure of why that was the case and asked me (the customer) if the item was backordered. So, I called Havertys to inquire about the missing piece and they said it had been damaged at the warehouse and it would be delivered Friday. So, I took Friday off of work and they never showed up. I called numerous times and they were unable to give me a new delivery date. They said they were waiting to hear back from the warehouse managers. They were very unaccommodating and did not offer any compensation for the confusion or inconvenience . And, now I will have to take ANOTHER day off whenever it will be delivered. Ive called no less than 20 times and still have received no information. I am very frustrated with their poor community service.

DO NOT EVER BUY FURNITURE FROM HAVERTYS. This has literally been my worst nightmare. My wife does 100% of all our furniture buying / decorating, but Ive had to step in with Havertys. Here is what happened... 1. We bought a couch. 2. The couch was delivered 4 weeks later with a huge rip in the back. 3. Twice, a Havertys "repair man" came to fix it, and it was "not fixable" 4. We ordered a new couch. 5. The wrong couch was delivered 3 weeks later. 6. 2 weeks later, a new couch was delivered, with the staples showing where the edges werent completely together (like a half inch gap on an entire side) 7. We finally just asked for our money back, and were still waiting on our refund, over 3 weeks later. We found a "fold out bar" that we literally cannot find anywhere else (trust me, we looked). So we decided to bite the bullet and attempt to get it from Havertys. The top surface, completely exposed, has a 2 inch long chip out of it. WHY AM I NOT SURPRISED.

Purchased a bed for my daughter, asked if the delivery guys could disassemble the queen bed currently in her room and take it down the steps for me. Sales lady says "sure no problem", I say "Great"! Fast forward to delivery day, guys show up, look at me like I have 5 heads when I say the bed is upstairs to disassemble. Say they are not supposed to do that for liability reasons. Ok I get it...but now Im stuck moving queen size furniture myself. Called customer service to speak to a supervisor about my experience, none are available to talk to me (shocking). Finally get a call back the next day and they will do nothing to help rectify my inconvenience. Offered me a $50 gift card to the store. What can I get at Havertys for $50? nothing! Ill take my money to Sprintz next time. Been a customer at Havertys for 10 years. They just lost my business.

I am writing this review to express how pleased my husband and I were after dealing with the Havertys store in Cool Springs. Our salesperson, Kenzie, was pleasant but not pushy and worked with us to find just the chair we needed. She even took $50 off the bill after I found that they had marked the chair down the next day. They called when the chair came in and we were pleased to see that when we went there to pick up our chair, it was wrapped in not one, but two, moving blankets and then wrapped in plastic to keep from any harm coming to the chair in our travel back to our house. Everyone from the salesperson to the finance people to the guy on the loading dock were pleasant and helpful. I will recommend this store to others and will be coming back to this store for future furniture needs!

I have bought 2 sofas from them. Not because they are great, but because at the time they were one of the only furniture stores in town. They are a mid-grade furniture store. Mosy of their furniture is traditional, so if your home is in a different style, there are not many options for you. I also purchased a desk and desk chair from them. Their sofas look great in the stores, but look like crap soon after purchasing them. The furniture is a little over-priced and i havent bought anything since.

WE HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR AN LIVING ROOM FURNITURE FOR A WHILE WENT TO SO MANY DIFFERENT FURNITURE STORE BUT NONE OF THERE STAFF WERE HELPFUL AS THIS PLACE. SPECIALLY MISS. GINA I JUST DONT HAVE ANY WORD TO SAY ABOUT HER SHE WAS VERY HELPFUL AND VERY PATIENT TOOK ALL HER TO SHOW US AROUND AND LAYOUT ON PAPER AND ON COMPUTER EVERY INCH IN MY LIVING ROOM FIT IT THE WAY SHE DID IT. AND DID FOLLOW UP ON US AND ALSO MISS RAYNAE AND THEY UNDERSTOOD WHAT WE WANTED. BIG THANKS TO BOTH OF THEM.

Over the last 12 years or so we have purchased Havertys furniture for every place we lived. This store doesnt disappoint; the customer service provided by Ben (Asst. Mgr.) and LD (Sales Assoc.) are top notch. Not only do they set up everything and assist with how the final look will be- they make sure you are 100% satisfied until the very end. We have been to Ashleys, Sprintz and Rooms To Go over the last couple of years as well, they just do not compare to the service or the quality.

I have bought a bed from havertys and had is delivered. It was delivered on time and in great shape. I am now purchasing a living room suit. The service is outstanding. They are coming to measure my living space, help pick out colors, and consider other pieces I already own to decide on decorating ideas. I appreciate their full service approach to home design. I will add another review when I get my furniture.
