Went today to purchase supplies to remove wallpaper from our grandfathers home. Unfortunately, they were out of every item needed to complete the job. When addressing the issue and asking when the next truck would come in, the young man who was helpful, addressed the manner with the question. The manager, not even looking up from his ordering book, exhales loudly, like its an inconvenience to be asked, and says " I dont know, sometime this week ". Really? Hes the manager, hes ordering now and instead of asking how he could be helpful, or what items were out of stock, he was dismissive and uninterested in customer service. Its a shame to see this type of behavior from a local place, but thats why the box stores are thriving. We wont be back to inconvenience these folks at Ace again.

Great location. Its nice not to have to go all the way into Lexington or to the West Columbia Lowes to go to the big box stores when I need something quickly. I have always encountered helpful staff. Sometimes the selection isnt the greatest, but they have always been knowledgeable and helpful when I go in. The "satellite" post office is very helpful as well. I have utilized their services several times to mail packages without having to go to the actual post office. One thing about the store though, it is always HOT in there. Whether summer or winter (what little bit of winter we get here), it is always sweltering HOT in there. I have no idea how the staff tolerate it, as I get uncomfortable in there just in the short time I am in there as a customer.

Very rude and not Very helpful just relocated to south carolina i asked for help and all i got was rude answers and following me around the hole time will not be spending any money here will be taking my business to lowws or H D at least i am treated with respect ans helped .. i could have been a secret shopper . you never ever know who is a customer or someone from ace corporate.. Will not be spending my money there ..... In desparate need of customer service skills..

Reserved a Budget Truck there and they failed at processing the payment. Had my card company on the phone during his attempts (for an hour) and they told me there had been "no attempts and no restrictions on my card". This left me in a serious moving bind!

Good Ace location. Sometimes you just need a small scale hardware shop. They might not have the biggest selection, but a lot of times they have things you cant find elsewhere. Such as: 3" keychains with mad amounts of accessories. Whatever floats my boat.

Great to close by hardware needs. Not as well stocked as Lowes or HD , but good quality products. Very helpful staff that greet you with a how can I help, or leave you alone if just browsing, but are always neat to answer questions

Employ nice people who appreciate having a job. Even if the store isnt the greatest ( its not) , my opinion, would help. They do ask if they can help but you can truly tell its because they have to.

As many times as Ive been here the only times Ive actually been successful are when Im mailing something. Otherwise the selection is very poor, and they fail to keep common items in stock.

I went there for a key that was always getting stuck in the lock. They helped me out and got me some oil with graphite. If you need locks rekeyed or keys made this is the place to go.
