I called at 5:15 to place my order. I told the gentleman to have it ready by 6 p.m, give or take a little bc I am in Charlotte traffic. He was polite and said ok. I got there and the women who took my money, said it will be up soon. It should have already been ready. So I waited and she didnt even call back to page the staff to get my order until 5 mins later. They girl brought it up 5 mins later and was rude. I got home and didnt even have a full plate of chicken in dumplings, there was enough for a 5 year old but not a grown adult and same goes for my boyfriends dinner, I think he got the smallest slice of meatloaf known to man. Ive never been to a cracker barrel where they were rude and skimpy in their food.

Ordered the chicken fried steak and sides. After 30 minutes and 1 excuse after another they brought it out. Oh the waitress says she was told by manger to deliver the good without the gravy. They were out and making more. After another 20 minutes and no gravy and all the good cold I told waitress to give me Bill. She then brings gravy. I said no all food was cold. Then the manger comes out says she was at the bank and was not aware they had ran out of gravy. Really then who told waitress to bring it to table without gravy. To say the least I left hungry and Very disappointed in cracker barrel. Do not eat there

The food was nothing like it normally is. The mashed potatoes tasted awful. The biscuits were burnt bad. The mac and cheese was like liquid. The meat loaf looked like a dried up spongebob. The waitress brought the wrong drinks and didnt care and litteraly showed up maybe 3 times in a 45 min meal. Then we go to pay the person asked how was the meal and I was like oh yea not that good. She says okay 34.99. Like hello okay thank you have a nice day. Crazy. Worst 34 bucks I ever spent. Been happier if I would have bought Doritos

Waitress Nikki was terrible. 20 minutes after being seated, she arrived to the table to take our drink order. We ordered and asked for a platter of biscuits before the meal. 10 minutes later, she brings our drinks and begins cleaning a nearby table. Boyfriend asked for the biscuits. 5 minutes later she returns with 3 biscuits and tells us how she "put some cornbread on there for us". She then left for the day, before my food arrived, which was completely wrong.

This is homestyle southern comfort food for sure. Food and prices are matched well. Most meals are around $10. Kids menu is for all ages. They serve breakfast all day. They have a little store in the waiting area with unique items - great for travelers. No booths or padded chairs - all hard seats The restaurant is usually colder than most - in the summer I have to take a jacket in with me.

Went in got seated, there was maybe 4 other parties in the place, one was a group of 5 or 6 the waitresses took care of everybody makeing sure they had everything they needed and then just stood around talking while we sat there and sat and sat and sat now my wife is the last person to get up and leave because of poor service and she was ready to go thumbs down for that Cracker Barrel

The worst service i have ever experienced with machala as our server. rude over everything for no reason. would roll her eyes when asked for refills and when something was wrong with our food omg she acted like the world ended. we left the restaurant feeling as if we did something wrong. will never return because of the worst server ever

My wife and daughter stopped in while they were traveling. The entire meal was horrible. Raw okra, cold fries, (asked to have hot fries) same fries brought back on hot plate that had been microwaved. Daughter waited 10 minutes for ketchup. The biscuits and cornbread were rubbery. Overall terrible experience…

We go here alot and on Saturday when we went, we had the WORST service ever. we had to ask for the same thing 10 times. our food was wrong bc the server was careless and didnt ring in half of our food. I may not consider coming back because every time we come lately there is some problem...

Good as we come to expect at this chain. Staff friendly. Gift store well stocked. Could maybe get higher rating if we did not have to ask for things that are automatic at other CBs. Can we train this staff to warm the syrup bottles? Will SC locations ever get ev charging stations?

I received very horrible service, the silver ware was dirty and I had to wait 25 min for my food which arrived to my table cold, it was one customer service employee that was very helpful and that was the manager, I would not tell a friend or an enemy to eat here...disappointed

Its not bad but not the best Ive ever been to. Id give it 3.5 stars. Biggest complaint was as a group of 3, it took 1 hour 20 minutes to order get food and eat. It took over thirty to get food and it wasnt busy. Then about 20 minutes to finally get a ticket and few to go boxes.

My group came in with around 40 people and while we had called ahead, we had to wait 20 minutes for service, 10 minutes after that for drinks and an hour after that for food. Utterly unacceptable service and food. Overpriced for salty food that was not worth it.

After waiting over 40 minutes for our food, our server came to in form me that they had just served the last of what I had ordered. The tables all around us had been able to serve 2 parties before we got out food. Terribly slow.

The food was cold and they heated it up in the microwave. I have eaten here several times but the food is never been this bad! No apples and they ran out of a lot of food and then we got cold food! This was lunch time not dinner!

Bad service today, food took forever, the manager was really awkward when he came to talk about the slow service. Definitely not a place to go for your lunch hour. We didnt even get all the food we ordered. Wtf cracker barrel?

Good "homestyle" food. The country store is the best part. I found birch beer, cream soda, moon pies and lots of other cool things that I didnt think I could find in SC. The kids love this place. Its fun.

I waited for a to go order for over 45 minutes. Talked to the manager who said he would go get the order himself but never returned. DO NOT USE THIS STORE IT WOULD BE QUICKER TO GO TO CAROWINDS.
