We book at tour for 5 pm. However, the staff failed to confirm the boat Captains schedule and called us the day before asking if we would come in 2 hours earlier than our reservation. We found this a bit unprofessional but accommodated them since our schedule was flexible. When we arrived, the gal said she would not honor our Groupon because it was expired. However, it was not expired at the time I called to make the reservation. The gal who took the reservation could not offer me any tour dates before the Groupon expired so we scheduled it after the expiration date only after she explicitly promised me the coupon would be honored. Unfortunately, the girl who took the reservation wasn’t working when we came in and the gal that was would not honor what they had promised us. She was adamant the other girl never promised that even though she was not part of that conversation. She said the staff was too professional to make that promise—bear in mind, this was the same “professional” staff that booked a boat tour when they had no Captain available. I say “adamant”, but “belligerent” could better describe it because she not only refused to give us the discount but raised her voice and got quite confrontational about it to the point where all the people eating in the restaurant stopped eating and where all watching the conversation. It was really quite embarrassing. After being “bait and switched” out there, we elected to pay an additional $56 for a shorter ride so we didn’t drive for nothing. The ride itself was fine but nothing spectacular. We had a much better experience at Boggy Creak Airboat Rides in Kississimmie, FL. Loughman is strictly a “ride” and that’s it. You go out and back and that’s all. On the other hand, Boggy Creek is more of a ride/eco-tour. The Boggy Creek driver stopped several times and explained what kind of birds, plants, and other animals we were viewing as well as a bit about the eco system. On the Boggy Creek ride, we saw a lot of wildlife including birds, alligators, snakes, turtles and fish. Then, we got to handle a baby alligator and take photos with it at the end of the tour. On the Loughman ride, we saw a few alligators, one turtle and not much else. There was no narration or info, just a ride. In sum, if you want to take an airboat ride, I would recommend Boggy Creek over Loughman. You’ll have a better experience with a nicer staff and it’s a lot closer to the Orlando area.

Major disappointment today, had my family in from Ohio, sister and brother in law for their anniversary and made reservations for airboat ride today, was told that 10:30 was the only opening, they were booked all day and all week. After waiting over 30 minutes, finally was informed that the driver forgot about it, so WHAT A WASTE, completely irresponsible and its not as if anybody seemed to particularly care that I wasted an hour driving there, plus arrived half hour early and you think I would every come back? Plus, obviously, they werent booked all day and all week, so its apparent I was lied to as well. How about, we had a benefit last night and the captain is too hung over so he doesnt feel like it. I AM BEYOND ANGRY.....instead, I cant get in touch with the driver, he must be at church, yeah right! I AM GOING TO GO OUT OF MY WAY TO MAKE SURE ANYBODY I KNOW WONT TRUST YOUR AIRBOAT RIDES! oooh, I am hot!

I am a Brevard County resident and when we have out of town guests we always try to show them around the area. Of course a great "Florida" tradition is going on an airboat ride to see "gators" and such. We have tried many of the facilities in the area and Christmas of 2009 we decided to try Loughman. Wow, were we in for a surprise the property is breathtaking, the food was wonderful, and our ride was more than could be expected. Our tour operator "Carl" was very experienced and answered every question our "out of towners" asked. I think we will go back again this year!! Great Airboat experience.

Booked the entire venue twice in 2012, only to have Ashley, the manager there, break contract, costing me thousands of dollars, ruining both the events and also my business start up. These people are shady and dishonest - which is a shame because its a beautiful spot. I do NOT recommend anyone doing business with these people.

I dont come here for the rides I just go with my bro in law n we pull the blow boat up on the peninsula and go eat, I like the food and the woman there aint bad so hell...no complaints here
