We purchased a clearance chair a year or two ago. Even on a large clearance it was over $100. We were NOT interested in the warranty when the cashier asked, and told her so. Quite obviously we said its absolutely stupid to buy a $30 warranty on a $100+ chair, so we pass. She then insisted that it WAS worth it, because of the guarantee - either someone would come out to fix our chair if there was ANY problem with it... and if they could not fix it, they would replace the chair with an EQUAL VALUE chair. We asked, but thats just a $100 chair, which makes our point. She said NO, it would not be for just a $100 chair, it would be replaced with a chair that was worth the same price as the ORIGINAL price of this chair. So we ask, so theyll replace it with a chair of same full value, over $300?? She insists YES, thats why the warranty is SO worth the investment. So who wouldnt pick it up for that? So a year goes by and theres a tear in the faux leather of this chair and I contact the number on the warranty flyer the cashier gave us. Go through all the info, and they said theyre going to send me a check for the pre-tax price of the chair. I was shocked and asked why wasnt someone simply going to come fix it like the cashier said. They tell me they do NOT EVER have someone come fix the issue. They then told me I am more than welcome to take the chair to an upholstery person that they approve and get a quote and then theyll (again) cover up to the pre-tax price of the chair. I then said, but what about simply getting a replacement chair, again, like the cashier said. They again tell me that they DO NOT do that either. So EVERY SINGLE THING that cashier told us was a blatant lie. Complete, fully, 100% LIES. And then NOTHING she promised was true. Making the purchase great for her in the eyes of the store because the cashier sold another warranty, like they want cashiers to do. But making my husband and I inconvenienced, feeling totally lied to, and fed up with Staples. Ill never be going to Staples, Ill stick with Amazon where products are cheaper and delivered straight to my door - at least I know there I wont be lied to and screwed over for some lying employees benefit.

I needed to have two pictures cut to fit for a birthday book I was making. Because of a chronic illness, I shake and needed someone to help me. When I finally caught the attention of the associate she told me it would be 2.00. I do most of my office business there and while I understand how everything is "self serve" which might be great for others, I do not feel I should have been charged for a simple procedure taking a minute for her to do. For me this is a principle matter. I will take my business somewhere else even if it costs more. This is a business that makes money, bottom line, service is not free of charge. I could have paid the 2.00 and walked out but then the realness of the store would be walking out as well

Stopped in for a quick print job, then was advised server was down, couldnt access email, could have print job ready tomorrow. Advised needed tonight, no thanks. Then I was offered to use self print, then said server was back up......hummmmm. But in the end I was able to get the copies I requested. .59 cents for a colored copies, I think is just too much. But the cashier, once agreed to assist me was quiet pleasant.

We had a rush job that we ordered online. We discovered an error on our end with one of our documents and the Print Center was very helpful. They advised us to reorder and even processed our ahead of our scheduled time in order for us to pick it up early for a presentation. We will use this print center again!
