Ive had some tires installed here in the past, but not on my current car. After a few thousand miles, I got a small puncture in a new, very expensive tire, which is not a good feeling on an AWD vehicle. I called to have the tire repaired and asked for an appointment, so that I could reduce my time away from work as much as possible. Being knowledgeable about tires, and my experience with this tire specifically, I was sure the repair could be made. When I arrived at the location (right on time), the associate actually met me at the car, saving me the walk inside. He looked at the damage and agreed that it should be an easy fix. He insisted that the repair would be free and even offered to rotate them for free, which I declined (I rotate them myself). I was in and out of the store at no expense in less than 30 minutes, which is amazing, compared to the last emergency repair experience I had at a major retailer, whose name rhymes with Spears. The staff were not only friendly, but they made me feel great with the multiple compliments I received about my car. Just a note: They do offer these services for free, but there are a few things to look out for: It is definitely a sales tactic, right or wrong. If they determine that they cannot repair the tire, they will remove it and place it permanently in the trash, per their policy. This leaves you with a choice of installing your spare or buying a new tire or tires. In my case, they enthusiastically offered to replace it with a completely different brand and type. (As an performance car enthusiast, this was a red flag, and they nearly insisted that they couldnt install a matching tire for over a week.) They will offer to sell road hazard insurance, at a reasonable price. Make sure you leave with your matching valve stem cap, as I had to order one online to replace it. The service overall was really good, but be ready for the sales pitches!

I have bought at least 3 sets of tires from Discount Tire and never had an issue. I loved the free rotation and balance, although there have been numerous times I had to take my car back because it wasnt balanced correctly. My opinion of Discount Tire changed yesterday 1/13/14 when I had them look at my tires because I had hit a pot hole on the highway. Before he even looked he said they would probably have to be replaced. I shouldve known then they were trying to screw me. Sure enough I was told that two rims were bent and would have to be replaced and the cost would be $530. I am a single mother and a teacher and dont have $530 laying around. I was never told that there was a possibility of having them repaired at a much cheaper price elsewhere, which I did. I told them to go ahead with the work but then changed my mind when informed by my boyfriend that they could be repaired. When I told Ben I was not going to have the work done he THEN offered me a better deal. I am beyond disappointed in their service and feel like I was taken advantage of because I am a woman. There is not a person or a social media outlet that I will not speak out to make sure everyone I come in contact with knows how shady they are. I would rather buy tires from someone else and pay for a rotation than EVER give them my business again. What a sad little business they have there.

Discount tire on Woodruff Road has good customer service. I wanted to replace all 4 tpms sensors when I replaced the tires, but I thought I would have to wait and order them online to get a cheaper price. My tires were very worn out so I was kind of worried about that. I called in and they said that to not worry about the price difference and that they would cover it so I could hangs my tires sooner. Also, a salesperson sold me some used Michelin tires at a discounted price and said that there were only about $1000 miles on them and that they were almost new. After they were installed I checked the tire tread depth myself and found that there was only 7.5/32" left on the tire (9/32" is what it should be new for this tire). This meant that there was closer to about 13,000 miles on this tire. I was pretty upset about this, so I went in to the store again. I talked to the manager who said that they had only been on the car for about a month (I believe him, he seemed like an honest guy). Anyway, he gave me an additional discount to make things right, which I appreciate. To give them the benefit of the doubt, maybe they were duped by the guy who traded the tires in. I will definitely be coming back to discount tire for future tire purchases, because of good customer service and willingness to make things right.

Purchased 4 new tires and rims @ a premium price from a Homeboy from MI. He promised me the world, said Michelin was local and that they would last for 70k miles or free replacement. Had them regularly serviced and rotated as required but today, when I had a strange sound @ 40mph plus, I made an appt. I still had nearly 10k on my warranty and was confident they would help me. Not only did they not help me, they INSISTED I purchase 4 new tires despite the fact that they were still under warranty. It was as if I were a stranger, encouraged to get their credit card and charge the purchase. The manager quoted me $500 for four new tires. I never in a million years thought this would happen, but accepted two tires on their offer. Had an appt. I could not miss and figured the two hours it took, once I authorized it, would be plenty of time to do repair. After my meeting, I was shocked to see my truck where I parked it w/ nothing having been done. They finally did the repair and when I paid my bill it was $334.00! 1/2 of 500? I still have the issue that made me go there and out of nearly 340 bucks. B.S. NEVER AGAIN!!

Best tire buying experience Ive had. I was able to schedule my appointment online, got a really great price for my tires, and the customer service was truly above and beyond what I went in expecting. While waiting to speak to a representative, 3 of the other reps, currently working with other customers, addressed me and assured me that someone would be with me soon. They took my car back right away, and gave me an accurate wait time of 35 minutes AND brought around waters to all the customers in the lobby. I will absolutely be back when I need tires again and I will refer all my friends and family here as well.

Best place in Greenville. Ive taken my car here since Ive moved here. We had a mishap where nitto shipped the wrong tire. I didnt realize it until I got home. I called JP and he walked me through identifying the tire. Turns out it was the wrong tire. Instead of me waiting another 2 days for the tire to come in they drove to a local shop picked the tire up for me. I had the right tire installed same day. This is the first time Ive had an issue at this discount tire and they fixed it almost immediately. Also I want to say that Alex is great and thank you guys for everything Mark Bower Chrysler 200
