I am a Wal-Mart customer for year and I have never been so unpleased to have to type in like this. My experience at this Wal-Mart have and the way that I have been treated is very poor and have made me decide not to go back here again. I came in on the 15th of December at 11:30am by my receipt to pay my Direct Tv bill and the girl in customer service didnt seem to know the precise to do my payment so she asked for help( RED FLAG#1). someone told her how and she made my payment then ask me if I wanted it payed in 1 or two days I told her I wanted it done today and she said it only said one or two days so I said next day then.(RED FLAG #2). Well I called Monday night because my payment didnt post at Direct Tv at this time so I called the Wal-Mart to see what the problem was and asked to talk to a manager they said they wasnt there but I could talk to the assistant manager they put me to another person in the stock area that couldnt help me(RED FLAG #3 ) So I was told to give my name and number and someone would call me back(RED FLAG #4) THAT CALL NEVER CAME. I called today DECEMBER 17TH to get some help and I had no help at all and that I had to call DirectTv to see if they got the payment well the payment isnt there and I paid my money and now I fell Like I have been robbed .REDFLAG AL AROUND . I also had a lady on the telephone a few minutes ago that hang up on me trying to get some help. I will never go back here for anything ever from this store.

This store on Folly Road is a classic example of ethic inefficiencies as Walmart uses lesser qualified employees to meet the corporate quotas dictated to the God of political correctness. This same sickness is seen in all areas of business and government nationwide but is much more prevalent in the South, and is dampening the economy at every turn. People in the James Island area shop the store due to location but then have to wait and wait in line due to the poor training and poltically oriented hiring practices. The store also rips customers off by putting items under the wrong (lower) price stickers. By the time you realize this, you have invested so much of your time waiting in line, many people just pay the real (higher) price. Many employees in this store seem to have a cultural bias against Southerners, buy the truth is they are probably just not qualified for the job they hold.

As a cashier at Walmart it is really rewarding to see customer come to your line and tell you wonderful comments about the service you are providing them and about the store you are working for. . Yesterday, 01/30/17 a nice lady came to my line and told me. "I am not fan of shopping at Walmart, because I do not expect good service at Walmart, but this one in Folly Rd is the exception". LOL..This is the only Walmart my daughter and I visit. We really enjoy coming here, everybody around the store is very helpful, they help me to find items I need and you, as cashier, you are very nice and professional. This is the only Walmart I love, it is nice to have a pleasant experience while shopping and while checking out. As a cashier I felt, invigorated and happy to serve a customer so nice, friendly and appreciative of the work we do at Walmart. Thanks lady you made my day more bright.

This Walmart is EXTREMELY unorganized and has ALWAYS been this way even before the construction. They have the WOREST customer service EVER! They are really rude and seem bothered to help you; not to mention you can never find anybody to help you. They NEVER answer the phone when you call either. There store hours on there site are WRONG! They are not open till 11:59 they are open till 11 and 10 on sundays haha. THIS STORE IS A SAD EXCUSE FOR A WAL-MART! I will gladly travel all the way to the west ashley Wal-Mart for this point on thank you very much. Sincerely A VERY PEEDOFF customer. (;

Lost a customer over $8 in blueberries. The minute I got home I realized I didnt have them. Begrudgingly I went back to the store, exhausted, 9:00 p.m. The manager basically called me a liar and wouldnt give me the item, I am a local and shop in that sore all the time. Not to be believed is more than insulting. I will NEVER set foot in that store again. Hint young assistant manager-size up your customer. You have zero instinct, and have lost Walmart a lifetime customer. As if your giant conglomerate cares about one person. Oh well, one person I am. One at the time.

I went there today to replace my lost and expensive mens wedding band with an inexpensive one. They had exactly what the website said they had. I dealt with 4 different people: the one who told me where the jewelry department was, the jewelry clerk, one who told me where picture frames were, and the one checking me out. All 4 were extremely friendly. Ive read the other reviews, too bad they had bad experiences. However, my experience fit my need perfectly. I will admit the store is not as "flashy" as other stores, but neither is the area. Just my 2 cents.

Walmart cannot hire quality help. This store was no exception. Items not stocked on shelves, poor service as employees cant run register (you stand in line twice).....typical Walmart. This is a beach store. Lots of fishing licenses sold here. Sporting goods counter frequently abandoned, not very helpful at a beach store when someone needs a license?

A bag full of stuff worth about $30 was left there last night so my husband called and told them and they said we could pick it up today at customer service. We show up around 12 and we were told all of our stuff was put back and we would have to find it all again and they were rude about it. Never again, I will shop at target! Thanks

My son and I waited in line at register 4 for about five minutes because the light was on. No one showed up to check us out. There was another man in front of us. He swiftly headed off to another register cursing under his breath. My son and I went to the self serve check-out. It was approximately 6:00 pm on Sunday the 2nd of July.

Didnt have an experience here. Reasons being after having to take a 10 mile detour due to a bridge closure i arrive at 11:30 PM to find that despite multiple internet sources telling me this is a 24 hour store, it isnt. Closed at 11:00. I dont mind a good drive to get what I need, but dont waste my time.

Theres a bigger focus on selling seasonal items for tourists. Some really good staff in outdoors and gardening and in the deli. Most of their staff just hate that they are at work for some reason. This is one of the few Walmarts that you can guarantee after something is sold out theyll never have it again...

Ive never had such a consistently great experience at a Walmart. I called about a camera that they located and held for me. When I got there everyone in the electronics department knew about it and was waiting for my arrival. Their arts and craft sections is way above par, I actually just enjoy going here.
