My family and I have been shopping at this location (York Pa) for at least 10 years. I know the manager Christian pretty well and the associates. They too know my name, my fathers, and Uncle names. We are ALL avid movie buffs. I was in today 2/6 about 12:45pm, killing time checking my usual horror dvds and posters. Upon check out I asked the associate, ringing me out (about 18, brown hair/pulled back with glasses) if the posters next to the cash wrap were free posters that I could rummage through. She said yeah of course "have at it"...so I did. In the meantime the manager was walking back and forth, watching me pull out, roll up and take "free" posters. As I began to walk out, he yelled (in front of everyone) what do you got there... he took the posters and said clear as day in front of 25 some other customers " you dummies these arent free", "you know better". Scolding me as if I was a child stealing something. I had clearly asked the associate if those were available, she said yes while the other associate assisted me with rubber banding them. First of all I do not care Id Ive known you most of my adult life, being a loyal customer... you do not have the right to call me a dummie. I was so embarrassed I walked out. I have full intentions of going in when Im less upset to confront Christian about the way he handled the situation. Im reaching out to their corporate too. Im so disappointed.

F.Y.E is always a hit or miss, one week they will carry exactly what you are looking for and the next its completely removed from their system. The option to have a mixed CD created for you in store is a cool concept but their system again is limited and they will not go out of their way to order anything that isnt in their system and the cost to burn CDs is more expensive then just ordering the actual CD from the internet and having it shipped. If you are into the main stream media market F.Y.E is for you but if you are looking for underground productions (which they sometimes do carry) it will become frustrating. Especially when you knew that they carried it one day, came back and all of a sudden its MIA, and they seem to be more or less unorganized. I really dont mean to sound so negative about the place considering the employes are very helpful and respectful but the reality is its the best music store in town and Ive been let down by them more then Ive been impressed by them.

Boyfriend and I just bought 4 used DVDs from there. Since Im pregnant and was feeling really sick we wanted to make it quick. We grabbed the first used DVD out of the prom night section, and we get home to find out because the employees are too incompetent to make sure the movies are all in the correct place, we grabbed the wrong one. Usually theyre decent but they really need to get up on their stocking. Its really pathetic for me to come in with my ocd and see that movies and cds arent in the right place. I understand some customers are at fault, but thats why they need to run through and check the stocking.

Every time I go there I love it. Everyone is always so helpful and kind. Christian I believe is his name hes the manager (Im bad with remembering names) is such a wonderful person. He always makes me so happy to shop there. He even remembers me every time I walk in, and makes it a thing to come say "hello" which means a whole lot to me. And he always goes out of his way to help me find what Im looking for. I just had to write about how wonderful I believe everyone is there. Thank you guys for being awesome!

The store is disorganized. Almost nothing is in the right place, so you can never be sure if the price is as advertised. I had to as multiple employees for help before anyone answered my question, and checkout took more than 10 minutes.
