HORRIBLE PLACE! my mother went to buy a table , they left a sold sticker on it to hold for three days as policy since our car is small. I went to pick up the table for my mother with my husband, the back staff were not only disrespect but con-ing us! They told me that the table was sold due to sticking switching the tickets (the table shouldve been moved to the back but she said they forgot due to being busy) so not only was it sold to someone else but they gave us someone elses receipt and personal info with store credit of 30$ when we paid almost 60$ for this table. When going home I realized the ticket wasnt mine tried to make it before they closed and one of theyre cashier girls was beyond disrespectful and spoke to me as if I was nothing and told me they dont even have cameras throughout the store!! The cashier had the nerve to get her attitude with me because she actually would have to help a paying customer had the nerve to tell me "well were closed so i dont know what you want me to do, and theres no manager here shes just a supervisor sooo. ...I dont know what you want me to tell you" then closed the doors in my face!My mother had to go in threw the back to speak to a manager to find her personal receipt (they even questioned if she was telling the truth until they found the actual copy with her name on it!) this place treats people of color as fools and morons! VERY DISAPPOINTING AND UNPROFESSIONAL! They didnt even fix the problem they found the receipt to only tell us they need the item that was taken back (the item of the person on the receipt that wasnt even ours!)

The working Staff regulars are very nice and hard working! The Supervisor on the other hand is another Topic!lHer workers are in fear of even calling her on the phone to bring her from the back where she posts up on where she thinks she is a Queen!!Little does she know she has treated more then a couple of Individuals like crap and others that had Disability problems from not from self induced but from what Our Good Lord Gave Us!! Making it a Very Uncomfortable shopping outting Afternoon, just by her Pure Ignorance! Why even work in this Type of Work Place? Go work where you can play your Tough ,Nasty,I So much Better Part!!!!Plus I have Never,Ever seen This SUPERVISOR Smile interact with Anyone in a Kindly,Friendly manner when I do get a chance to stop in This Store. Which is sometimes as much as 3 times a much or more.I do spend a good amount through out the year at this Store also Iam probably one of the better customers!I also Donated alot of items year to year and not junk! But I can honestly say after seeing first hand now,Espesically what goes on I have started finding other options for my donations!!Many ,Many Thanks to Miss Personality The Supervisor of The Whitehall Salvation Army Store!!For being a Peach, haha No I meant a Prune!! Please replace Her ASAP!!!She is Running your Store and Staff, and Customers, right out of Allentown! Your Store will be Close Down!!The Wonderful Staff that are Pleasure to see and Friendly will lose their jobs. Why should a few suffer because of Just One!!! Good Luck! Hopefully Prayers will be Answered Quickly! Tks, T.R &T.R.

Used to love to come in looking for a bargain until it started becoming unprofessional drama central! Employees who are supposed to be putting out products, calling in friends and family and then giving direct hand off of premium items before the public ever gets a chance to look at them. Come on guys! Get your act together! I get it, we are all short on funds and looking for a bargain...but everyone deserves a chance at those bargains, not just your greedy selves! Management is either blind or does not care...I believe they dont care since I am aware of several complaints made. So good luck if youre heading to this place...maybe youll find a good deal, if the rude greedy folks dont covertly pass it out the door first!

This place has really gone downhill over the years. It is a thrift store so I dont expect it to be pretty. However it has been looking messier and messier. I used to drop by at least four times a week just to check out the inventory. Now the inventory is always LACKING! It could be a lack of donations, but I am not sure. Also, why do some people allow their children to run amok in stores?? This is not a playground, or preschool. Kids were riding around in roller blades, skateboards, trying out the exercise bikes and breaking knobs on furniture. Ugh! I dont plan on visiting again any time soon. I wonder if Greg is still there. He was a GREAT store manager! Got merchandise in, priced it to sell and got it out of there!!

The Salvation Army is definitely my favorite thrift store by far, actually all around clothing store. Every Wednesday is family day and almost everything is 50% off. I was just there last week and got three pairs of jeans, two Levis, all for just $5.00. It is the best feeling to go in there with just the little amount you magically found in your purse and end up finding all the essentials you wanted. Please go in there whenever you can. You will find everything and anything you can imagine, even if it is a vintage Calvin Klein Jeans t-shirt that youd thought would just be a dream of having.

This place is really dirty and depressing. I was looking for serving plates and the shelves were pretty empty with just a few items that would ordinarily be thrown away. I did end up finding a nice glass fruit bowl for only $3 and joined the line to pay for it... well! when it came to my turn to be served one of the girls decided to walk away and preen herself in the mirror by the register. the other register became clear and I walked over and the look that I got given for coming up without being called was hilarious. get over yourselves girls, go back to school.

Relatively clean and kept as far as Salvation Armys go. Really big store with tons of racks of second hand clothes. Always some cool finds if you are willing to dig. Always worth going once a month or so for an hour just to see what is around. You never know what gem you will find!

Every Wednesday is half off of like four colors of tickets. However it is extremely crowded for that same reason on Wednesday. Decent prices on clothes. The brand-name racks sometimes have brand-new with tagss clothing. Due to its location in Whitehall, it has quality stuff often.

My favorite clothes have come from this particular location. On top of that, the ministry to which the money for those clothes has gone does wonderful things for the people in this community and around the country. I always feel happy after having shopped here.

Awesome place to go for some cheap clothing and other needed items. Also, its easy to donate stuff, just drop it off around back of the building.
