What is there to say about a Salvation Army? You get what you pay for? A lot of the clothing is out of date, stained, ripped etc and they cant seem to find a good place to put the tag without punching a hole in the clothing itself so that ruins a lot of it. Its kind of dim but mostly clean. The staff is, revolving I guess would be a good way to put it? I never really see the same person more than a time or two, but its fun to go look for stuff for halloween, costumes, etc that you dont need to care too much about the longevity of the clothing. It supports a good cause too so thats a big plus. Go on Wednesdays, because they discount 3 of the color tags 50% instead of just one of the colors.

This is a 100-year old, family-run business that can easily hang with the big box stores. As a matter of fact, it could replace both Staples and Michaels on my list of go-to stores. As well as office supplies (and furniture), it also has tons of art supplies and even equipment such as drafting tables and professional easels. I saw canvases up to about 6-feet wide. And the service is knowledgeable and friendly. Do try this place the next time you plan on Staples or Michaels.

This is one thrift shop that really has great prices. Unfortunately, the employees are MORONS! I had an assistant manager ring up 4 items at the wrong price (4 out of 6!!) but before I gave her my debit card...I noticed the problem. She told me no, the price was correct?! (Lying right to my face) After charging my bank card for too much $ I asked, can you just refund the $ I dont want any of the items....Her answer was...All Sales ARE FINAL?!

These people are so RUDE!!! The sales lady that calls my office has hung up on me twice while I was mid-sentence explaining that we are not interested. However, she continues to call back and PUSH her agenda on us only to snap at me and hang up on me all over again. I would not use them on this principal alone. We use Staples and we LOVE them. they are always helpful, and kind, and have great products and prices!

The sales person called me and spoke very condescending and rude to me. I tried to explain the company policy and procedure, and when I was trying to help they hung up on me. This is no way to try to gain new business. If thats how they act when they start a business relationship, imagine how they are if you are a customer and need assistance? Poor model for customer service.

We have used Rubensteins for our office supplies for several years. They offer us discounted prices on the products we use most regularly and the is customer service is consistently reliable. I mostly use their online catalog, but also enjoy shopping in their stores in Kennett Square and West Chester. They have an excellent art supply section.

Completely Rude !! So this guy calls my office and will not take "No, not interested" for an answer. He hung up on me. He then attempted to google my company, called again attempting to ask for the CEO giving a completely different name, not our CEO. Sorry guy you googled the wrong company. You made yourself look like a complete DONKEY !!!

The number one place to buy art supplies!! Why order from an online supplier when you can buy local and get 30 percent off if you are an artist with a discount card . (Its easy to get - just ask) Remember: Buy Local. All those "BIg Box" stores are part of corporate America - do they support artists?

Good deals here and there. They staple their price tag on the clothing. So I had to pass on a lot of items because theres a pinhole right on the collar where everyone can see it. Racks are so packed with tshirts you cant even peek in to see whats on the shirt.

Poor customer service. I attempted to get a quote on products they said were in a different price range, and they ignored my emails to close my account or get a new quote. Very unsatisfied and would not recommend. Office depot has better service and selection.

They dont like the answer no. Arguing with me about their prices. I was talking and explaining why I was not interested. That I shopped the best price on every item I buy plus Quill offered coupons.......he hung up on me after making a RUDE remark.

I like shopping at Salvation Army in West Chester. The employees are very helpful and friendly. I shop there at least twice a week there is a good turnover. Sometimes the prices are a little high!
